by Dudboy on 31 October 2009

Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (15 cards)

Creatures (3)

Sorceries (3)

Instants (3)

Enchantments (6)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Casual creature destruction deck. Get Thornbite Staff on Royal Assassin and Fatestitcher or Avatar of Woe for board-clearing fun. Win conditions are Serra Sphinx, Avatar of Woe, and Consume Spirit powered by Dreadship Reef counters. Swap Deluge with Sleep and Diabolic Tutor with Rhystic Tutor as necessary. Cards are chosen with a low budget in mind (which is why this deck doesn't actually have Damnation in it).

Possible swaps for Serra Sphinx include Djinn of Wishes or even Air Elemental.
One could also drop Avatar of Woe all together, and focus more on Royal Assassin.

Suggestions are welcome, especially for the sideboard. Thanks!

Deck discussion for Selective Damnation

Here is another combo for your deck: Endless Whispers + Fallen Ideal.
Kill a lot of your opponent's creature let them come to your side then sacrifice to Fallen ideal. Rinse and repeat. Of course then go in for the kill.

Check out my recent decksa when you have the chance. +1 to you mate.

I know its alittle expensive but I like turnabout for this deck

Hmm... I like the Endless Whispers + Fallen Ideal. I assume that if I use those cards, I would drop Endless Whispers at the end of my turn, sweep his board during his, and swing for the kill my next turn? Hmm... If that were the case, then I would probably drop the Sphinxes, a Dreadship Reef, a Tutor, and maybe a Rathi Trapper for it.

And yeah, I considered Turnabout, as the flexibility for tapping lands or artifacts is nice, but this is mainly aimed at creature-heavy decks. I'd imagine this would work alright against a Saproling deck or the likes. I'll add these cards to the sideboard. Thanks!
