Deck Description

Manabarbs is so great! Especially since everything you use costs so little and does so much damage.

Deck discussion for Burning Barbs

How about Quest for the Pure Flame? It gets a quest counter every time an opponent taps a land for mana with Manabarbs in play, and circumvents the problems caused by Furnace of Rath:
Say you have a fully charged quest in play with four lands. If your opponent now plays a spell with four lands, you can float four mana in reaction to the Barbs resolving on them, take four, pop the quest, they take eight, and they are now open to a lethal hit from a few doubled Lightning Bolts...

Great it would be good against other decks that have creatures with low defence

I put the deck together rather quickly. Probably in about 5min. I was having brain fart when i was thinking of burn spells. Besides i was mainly posting this deck to show off the point of manabarbs. A lot of my friends say it's terrible, but to me it's a black card with a red border.

Deck looks fun. I suggest adding Reverberate and fetch lands to thin out your lands.

I like Oculus' comment about Quest of Pure Flame. For casual, I can see cloudposts or urza's lands cheating manabarbs to pump up a couple of fireballs and earthquakes. While my friends are playing timid because of mana barbs I can stockpile lands for the big bang. Of course, it doesn't really help your deck but I might show some of my buds how to fear mana barbs also.

Based on your deck and the comments I came up with this.
