Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (15 cards)

Sorceries (3)

Instants (6)

Artifacts (4)

Enchantments (2)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

How to Play

As Foretold can cast Ancestral Vision. I was blown away by the card advantage there. Tolaria West can "tutor" for Ancestral Vision. Perplex can provide as an early counter and "tutor" for As Foretold and Steady Progress. Drift of Phantasms can provide solid defense and "tutor" for As Foretold and Steady Progress.
Steady Progress and Tezzeret's Gambit provide card advantage and helping speed up As Foretold. The key is to get Nicol Bolas out as fast as possible. More proliferate can add to his loyalty counters as well.
Muddle the Mixture can counter the majority of what would take out As Foretold or Nicol Bolas. Transmute can put Spellskite in your hand to provide protection against creatures or other annoying cards that have abilities that remove permanents.
Dimir House guard can provide defense or "tutor" for Damnation and clear the board of creatures.
I have yet to playtest this. I'm just trying to figure out a combo to "break" As Foretold.

Deck discussion for As Foretold by Nicol Bolas

This might actually work. Looks fun either way.

Proliferate is good with As Foretold, but we shouldn't forget that it's Time counters, so cards like Timebender and Timecrafting from the Time Spiral block work with it too. Also, As Foretold puts a counter on itself during your upkeep, so Paradox Haze can help speed it up.

Been a fan of Paradox Haze since it was printed. Sadly, I've never been able to make a deck with it that I am satisfied with. Point is, it's always at the back of my mind, so when I see upkeep related things, I look to see if Paradox would fit.
