Deck Description

This is my variant on the Izzet Gizmometry deck. Lots of potential fun with repeating Chronarchs and gelectrodes.

Deck discussion for Izzet Bounce and Burn

Sweet deck! This deck must be fun to play with. The Magewright's Stone is awesome with Gelectrode. So many other combos, too. Great deck.

Actually the gelectrode usually doesn't need the artifact to untap. =D

I know i'd use it to pull extra cards and damage off Niv-Mizzet. And speaking of that another copy of him couldn't hurt, up the chances of pulling him a bit eh?

One more Niv wouldn't be bad, but in the testing of this deck, he isn't necessary for the win condition. This deck has been known to drop opponents 10-17 points in a single round without him in play. The card drawing is to search for him while still being able to quickly plink away with a Gelectrode/ Ophidian eye combo and recurring Chronarchs with Footsteps to recycle the cheap red burn.

Add Vedalken Aethermage. My Izzet deck has 4 copies of him. 3 mana, discard, and you can put any creature except gelectrode into your hand.
