This is the best possible draw. Unlikely, but possible. Turn 1: Play a Swamp, cast Lotus Petal, and any 0 mana cost creature. Tap your Swamp to cast Culling the Weak targeting your creature. Use one of the 4 mana to cast Dark Ritual, then tap and sacrifice the Lotus Petal for a total of 7 mana. Cast Ad Nauseam and pull as many cards as needed to get Sickening Dreams and Dark Sphere. Cast Dark Sphere and then Sickening Dreams, discarding 40 cards, and killing every player in the game other than yourself. In a normal game wins occur in about 4-5 turns. If the combo is interrupted the Elixir restarts the process. Unearth is only to get Maralen back in case she dies so that I won't have to pay the extra to colorless mana from the command zone. Sol Ring, Mox Opal, Mox Diamond, Lotus Bloom, Chrome Mox, Jeweled Amulet, Peat Bog, Lake of the Dead, Cabal Coffers, Ebon Stronghold and Phyrexian Tower all help to hasten the combo, and also give a variety of options to increase the chances of an early win. Chalice of the Void is a tiny bit of control to prevent your opponents from using removal against Malaren. Glacial Chasm is to buy you enough time to pull the combo and to prevent the damage it causes you. I hope you all enjoy!

Just a heads up from playing Maralen (aka Pan from Pan's Labyrinth) a while back, you are the last player to get to use pan's ability. this means normally someone tutors up a kill spell to stop you from comboing well before you get to tutor assuming they understand pan's combo. I found pan makes a better toolbox deck but thats just my experience. Feel free to ask any questions about my reasonings and such. The recommendations:lightning greavesSwiftfoot boots

I figure if they are running toolbox I'm pretty much screwed even with the greaves and boots. Diabolic Edict would still get me. But I see what you're saying, the greaves or boots would rule out a great deal of removal, so they're probably still a good idea.
I also added some tutors to be less dependent on Maralen.
That helps a lot also. Necropotence is a back up malren also.
That's a good idea. Hopefully I won't eat too much life before I can pull the combo though.
