The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
In honor of what Jessie posted earlier, here is the OTHER crazy new Jeskai card from Fate Reforged!
Step one: get out monastery mentor Step two: cantrip as much as possibleStep three: cast surge of zeal on a monk tokenStep four: profit!

Thanks dude! Happy New year!!!
to you to man
Looks good!Happy New Year
seens a blue draw deck with Blistercoil Weird and Paradise Mantle is Jeskai Ascendancy more stable here?!Grapeshot is also fun within this comboManamorphose could also help in here?!
Grapeshot is fun here but I'm going more for the creatures as opposed to burn. I have another deck I'm working on that has grapeshot and is a bit more complicated but it should be fun once done
As for not using Blistercoil weird, yes ascendancy is better here because it untaps and gives me a card draw alternative in case I get a dead draw from one of my cantrips
Wish Manamorphose would go down in price!
I know right?
Like Gitaxian Probe.I want 4 of both of those cards, but they are expensive!
Buy them Inge art a time with other purchases. That's what I try to do. Like I'd I'm getting a bunch of cheap cards to upgrade a deck, I'll toss on like one or two sorta expensive cards for later projects or trade fodder. It works out nicely
I was thinking maybe you wanna have blistercoil weird in the deck, it works super well with your same strategy, and acts as sort of a second jeskai ascendancy with the paradise mantle, but you don't have a sideboard, so maybe have it there? Idk, it's up to you. If the deck is consistent enough as is then you're good :D
I'm not adding Blistercoil because while it's nice, the enchant is far more potent and useful
You should check out Fatestitcher. He's insane with this combo! I would also go up to 4 Cruise, and maybe think about playing Thought Scour to fuel Cruise and StitcherI've been playing a Modern version, and the deck has really been slayinghttp://www.mtgvault.com/alleywayjack/decks/modern-ascendancy/
Fatestitcher just LOVES Illusionist's Bracer. They are best friends.
Right now the deck is just for the hell of it. Will likely make a better version later on that is more competitive
I didn't put Visions of Beyond in the deck due to having Treasure Cruise. Monastery Swiftspear might be a decent add due to her prowess and haste. Also Crimson Wisps is another great way to add draw and haste.
I'm not seriously going to make the deck as it is now, so I'm not too concerned about the interaction between visions and treasure cruise, plus I really only need the one draw, but three is nice too. And with only two treasure cruise the chances of getting it are low, which enables me to better abuse visions anyways. As for swiftspear, she is good but not needed here. Once mentor and ascendancy are out then it's just a matter of going off. Yeah it'd slow but again, I'm not going to make the deck as it is here. If I were, then yes I would add in some early game threats like her. As for wisps, it only gives one creature haste, but since I'm going to be making a ton of tokens, I need them ALL to have haste. Surge of zeal does exactly that and is therefore infinitely more useful. No crimson wisps allowed
I've played a deck like this and having a hasted creature out with paradise mantle is a hug bonus. Would be even better if they had prowess. But if your not going to build the deck why post it?
I build decks and never plan to buy them. For me, I pick a neat card like Furnace of Rath...and think, "Can I build a deck around it?"You build the deck. And it is neat. Cool. You like it. But is it practical...is the deck going to get you a lot of wins...or be worth your money? If not...I don't buy it.
Exactly. There are a few decks in here that I do actually intend to buy once I think they are completely worth it, like my rod of spanking deck. It can win, but it doesn't have to, mainly because just using the artifact on someone id's just priceless. Others, like my infect deck, are supposed top as early as possible and I keep taking them to ensure that. Other than that, I build decks simply because I like to. It's the same reason why I still buy legos even though I'm 25. I like to build stuff, so I take what I can find and then make something no one has seen before (usually).
Sweet build love this guy!

Please don't tell my decks with comments like these. I downvote them
Yeah that guys posted that a lot of places. What does down voting do?
Down voting doesn't do much. It basically lowers their reputation points. In theory...the more reputation points you have the better you are at helping others. Most people get downvoted if they post their deck to other people's decks without at least trying to help out the deck.Example...instead of just saying: "Check out my new deck" you could say, "I think your deck needs more draw cards. Something like Browbeat will help your deck. Now that I suggested a card to make your deck better, do you mind checking out one of my new decks?" Tit for tat, basically.Don't ask other people to look at your new deck if you aren't also helping someone out.
Basically. Kinda wish it actually meant something though
I suggested to surewhynot, the administrator, that reputation should buy you Hot Spots or more chances at getting your decks noticed. He said it was a bad idea because the same 3 or 4 people would get all the attention. My response was that this is community: the more you put in the more you get back. I definitely think there should be some benefit from earning reputation.
How about a quicken or two? For the sorceries?
No need. I'm casting everything on my turn anyways so what do I need it for? Its standard storm tactics. Plus I'm going to attack, so I need it to be my turn.
Ok, good point.
