Been trying to find a good commander for my first EDH deck, but wasn't having any luck. Then I saw Iroas.
Let the war games begin! Aggro your opponent into the ground with creature rushes and multiple combat phases!

very cheap for an edh you could add nykthos, shrine to nyx and maybe purphoros

Extremely solid deck. I can't think of anything that could possibly make this better. No redundancy, no downside to anything. I would surely have a terrible time trying to best you.Especially using this...http://www.mtgvault.com/granflux/decks/scion-of-the-urdragon/
It's funny because every time I've sat down to play with this, the other players write me off as the first to die because I'll be stupid and draw all the aggro, simply because my commander is battle centric. What ends up happening is that everyone leaves me alone while I just play stuff that isn't a creature without realizing just how bad an idea that is. Then I start casting a bunch of little guys that have all these extra effects and bonus keywords and they haven't even been out all of two seconds. Long story short, I end up winning through sheer damage. Iroas rarely attacks, but when I use him it tends to hurt since those bonuses make his godliness even more of a thing
I can only imagine Iroas becoming like a 27/24 world slaying god now. I'd really like to see our decks go head to head, yours is definitely faster though.
Lol it's not quite that bad. More like 18/11 because of all the power boosting permanents with vigilance, trample, first strike, and double damage. I've had my commander literally at truly ridiculous levels of crazy

Ordruun Veteran will be getting swapped with Combat Celebrant from Amonkhet. Also debating a slot for Throne of the God-Pharaoh, but not sure on that one yet
Dropped Hobgoblin Dragoon and Viashino Firstblade for Sky Terror and Tilonalli's Skinshifter from Ixalan. Sky Terror's evasion is near godlike for a two drop uncommon, and Skinshifter in this deck can get stupid in all the best ways.
So since Masters 25 started spoilers today, and easily the most talked about card I've seen in the set so far is the much belated reprint of Imperial Recruiter. Having seen that one of the few cards I REALLY wanted to put in here was one of each of the two Recruiter creatures, I'm making a spot for them both. Between the two of them, I can fetch 25 of my 35 creatures (post edits).Dropping:PanharmoniconWojek HalberdiersAdding:Imperial RecruiterRecruiter of the Guard
Ordered both Recruiters yesterday, so the deck will be current soon.
THEY'RE HERE!
Debating finding a slot for Warcry Phoenix and DEFINITELY finding a slot for Helm of the Host in here. Might drop Hall of Triumph for the Helm, but dunno what I'd replace with the Phoenix just yet.
Also decided to swap out Emeria, the Sky Ruin for Rugged Prairie. Don't have enough plains to get the trigger so it's pointless to keep it.
Swapped out Emeria, Karoo, and Dormant Volcano for Sol Ring and an additional mountain and plains. Don't have rugged prairie just yet, but eventually
With the release of Guilds of Ravnica came some much needed updates to Iroas. Some of the cards being dropped just don't perform as well as I would like, and others are being replaced with strictly better versions. This will also hopefully help cut the average cmc down a bit, which for aggro is really necessary. The one cut I'm sad to make is Cathars Crusade, because when it works, it WORKS. Sadly I either can't get out out long enough for it to be useful or when I do get it out I stop drawing creatures for several turns. I'm hoping Light of the Legion is a decent replacement. SOMEHOW I never came across Adriana, Captain of the Guard over the long period that I've been running this deck. I need to rectify this.
Dropped Flowstone Charger for Adriana
Going to be swapping out Boros Battleshaper for Ilharg, the Raze-Boar. I you ever use him and the sneak attack effect is very useful.
I never use*
Also going to swap out Foundry Champion for God-Eternal Oketra.
Strongly considering Winota from Ikoria. She fits well here and can get me some nice combos during combat
Changed a few of the creatures up. Ilharg, Moraug, Port Razer, and Winota were much needed upgrades to this deck. Can't wait to see how they change the dynamic up. Just the thought of Moraug, Port Razer, and Adriana all being in play and attacking is scary.
Made more changes. All of these are solid upgrades that can make devastating changes once out, especially Legion Loyalty. Myriad and multiple combat triggers is no joke.Dropped: Hearthfire Hobgoblin, Akroan Hoplite, Master Warcraft, & Warstorm SurgeAdded: Legion Loyalty, Popular Entertainer, Battle Angels of Tyr, & Karlach, Fury of Avernus
