who the hell went through and downvoted a bunch of posts? thats lame people, especially if its a valid post and not deck trolling

not yet. once im done piecing this deck together i will get the sleeves. until then i will just use penny sleeves. currently though, finishing this deck is on the backburner until i finish my most recent deck. it gives me goosebumps to think about how evil it is. check it out http://www.mtgvault.com/drakeraenes/decks/pay-in-blood/
And before anyone even says it, I AM NOT ADDING SANGUINE BOND!!! i understand how broken it is with Exquisite Blood, but it has no place in this design.
Type your deck name...Madblind Mountain makes ME shuffle, so it wouldnt work. Best thing i have to that effect is Soldier of Fortune
i have it in here for people that like to use fetch cards like cultivate and such. you would be amazed at how many people dont realize that they shuffle their own deck quite a bit, especially if you play legacy
im investing wisely in both money and mana by not using isochron. it would cost me 2 as opposed to only 1 with soldier of fortune
how is that any better than using soldier of fortune?
usually not an issue. even in the case of burn, unless you are staring down lightning bolt after lightning bolt, no burn deck can kill me before i can get a decent setup. plus if burn became too big of an issue, i could always splash black instead of white so i can add in things like Slaughter Games, Memoricide, Extirpate, Surgical Extraction, etc. no deck can account for everything it may go up against. burn is only one deck archetype, and it is very hard to get it just right. sitting there and screaming "but you need life" wont change a thing
i have a better challenge: take a deck you see, like mine, and make it flow better. your challenge sounds fine to me, but you took my deck and just added lifegain to it. try taking a bit of a further look into what you can actually do and make it work better for you. for example, why not consider Oblation, Path to Exile, Prophecy, Scour, or Visions? White cards that make opponents shuffle shuffle, and some damn good ones in a few cases. You want some constructive criticism? Here you go: simply adding a color and a single extra aspect wont make a deck work any better. it has to mesh, otherwise it will be too haphazard to function properly. try swapping in a few of the cards i listed above and your idea to splash in some white wont look like such a terrible revision of a decent deck.
you didnt make the deck any better in any way. the only thing you did was upset the balance of a decent deck design by adding in a color that in NO WAY WHATSOEVER helps the original concept. none of the white cards you added will help you shuffle, and you even replaced the better cards in this deck with worse options. also, why would you even want to attempt to use this in a casual 4 player game? you would basically be no threat until you got out probe, and then it would only be a few turns before you are killed. you took a fun deck and made it a lame excuse of a knockoff.
you seriously trolled my deck with that? its so haphazard its painful to look at
even with 4 in the deck, i dont always get out leyline. its not that its counter-productive, just that if i get it out late i can still use surgical on anything that i missed beforehand.as for neverending tormet, somehow i missed that one. i will toss it in the SB and try to find a way to include it into the mainboard
i reccommend going for the pinnacle. makes your opponent waste a disenchant to make sure you cant use it if they dont know what the deck does
its all good. im just thrilled one of my 80 something decks finally made the front page lol
nice. i like the blue cards you included. especially like the infect counterspell
this is hands down the best use of worldspine i have ever seen, this would troll the hell out of any of my friends
http://www.mtgvault.com/drakeraenes/decks/the-plague/ this right here is my most hated deck hands down. ive pulled off the most insane wins with it, my favorite being the game i won with only a single swamp, a vector asp, and 4 mutagenic growths.
thanks. it helped out my mana curve a bit too. honestly i love this deck so much. my friends begged me to play it when they first discovered i had it. now they dont ever want me to bring it out lol
im laughing so hard right now!!!!!!!
i wasnt hating on jester's cap. its a great card. its just that when i make a deck i look at EVERY card that deals with what i aim to accomplish. in this case it was "shuffle", so i looked at every card that has the word shuffle in it. from there i select cards that i think would go well together without it being too lopsided in the mana curve. i usually start a deck out with anywhere from 150 to 300 singles and then slowly chip away the less useful things. basically that means that i looked at every card in your deck already while making mine and decided they werent worth it for whatever reason. sometimes it is the CMC, other times it is the actual money price. most often it is the effect of the card itself in conjunction with the rest of the deck. also, i meant no disrespect by saying i cringed. i just dont often see 1-offs in a casual deck like this where combo-ing off is everything. yeah the cards themselves are good for what they do, no doubt there, but with everything else already in there it just seems to spread out to me. i only offer advice when i think it might be useful or direly needed in the case of a bad deck. your deck IS NOT bad, it just could be a bit smoother is all. it looks like it runs fine from what i saw so if it ain't broke, dont fix it. i just thought you might want to know what i thought briefly. plus if i really thought it was so horrendous, i wouldve suggested replacements for stuff, but i didnt, now did i? ;)
