I would side vandalblast and fireshrieker and add cairn wanderer, rakdos ragemutt and vampire hound. Example, play a vampire hound discard ragemutt and/or a double striker if one isn't already in your graveyard. Then play cairn wanderer and you've got yourself a 4/4 double striker with lifelink and haste.

Or keep the artifact and side the fanatic.

Looks mean and aggressive. I would look for a two drop replacement to wildfire cerberus though. Your other late game hounds are better and you need something to get out quicker.

Cought of Arms!! :))

Take out Fireshrieker, since some of your creatures already have DS ...

Also... ...how about Hound Bomb, Hound Mystic, Hound King, Timberland Cerberus, Barking-One, Sharpshooter Cerberus, Woof-Gnawer, or may be some Pack-Puppies??

Good luck, mate!.. ;)

Jackal familiar, Ashmouth hound to add some cheaper creatures.
Also Mortis dogs quite fit the theme and looks fun to play

Sure, but he lòòks like a doggie. A scorching, lava-oozing, obsidian-crafting, land-demolishing doggie, why not, but a doggie none the less! :-)

A hound deck? Basilisk Collar and/or maybe Sparring Collar should be in this, at least for flavour :)

Definitely cool deck. I particularly like that you had a theme but you didn't stick to it so much that you excluded other great cards like Fanatic of Mogis and Archetype of Aggression. Like Puschkin mentioned, Basilisk Collar would be a flavor win. However, it would also be a mechanics win. With the amount of Double Strike and the addition of Ashmouth Hound (Firstest Strike), Basilisk Collar could wreck face. Not to mention all the "must be blocked by X creatures" effects.

I would also cut Vandalblast and Final Punishment, maybe even Hammer of Purphoros, for the 4th Ashmouth Hound, at least 3 Mogis's Hound, and maybe the other 2 Madcap Skills.

Have fun, maybe make a W/G cat deck to fight it!

I want to get some basilisk collar for it, was keeping it budget like and i may put in some exsaugates for more then one player idea, but i may take that part out the budget if i get collar

Well, Gorgon's Head is almost as good for this deck, it's just not on theme and doesn't grant lifelink. It's probably like 4 cents though

Okay if you wanna make a budget deck like this one use gorgon heads, but if you have em or the money the b.collar there covers both sides. thanks kmk888

What about Pit Fight, a spell with red/green slash mana to take out fliers?

Forgot about that one ! Thank you Hows the rest of the deck ? good ideas i just gotta see what flows , if a 2/2 fight another 2/2 and mine has double strike mine stays alive correct

0

no it wouldn't as double strike and first strike and some others are combat only mechanics. So your creature would take 2 and their creature would take 2 and both would die, this happens for all cards that say x creature fights y creature.

Thats what i thought, so there no so good in here thanks necrohellion, undying evil work but not theme related ..lol

Fight with a basilisk collar is awesome and would let you take out a flier of any size.

0
Posted 03 June 2014 at 18:56

but the flier can still potentially kill whoever you choose to fight it, if its power is high enough

0
Posted 03 June 2014 at 19:06

True, but losing a 2/1 or a 1/2 double strike to kill a 5/5 or a 7/7 threat is well worth it.

0

True, i am gonna test it out with gorgon heads , till i get some b.collars
