The deck has an aggro to almost midrange type of strategy. It seems to do pretty well vs the Jeskai combo decks and other aggro strategies. I have not played vs. GB aggro or delerium, or straight control. For the first pptq of the season, my friend Alex and I built decks the night before. Had never played with them before. Byron, MN. 18 players, 5 rounds, cut to top 8. I squeeze in at 3-2 and Alex at 3-1-1. We end up seeing each other in the finals. We split prize packs and played for the invitation. I crush him 2-0, he was playing the RU reanimation deck. That was my first pptq win.
You want a creature based aggressive hand. If you know what you're playing against mulligan accordingly. Invigorated Rampage is really good. Try to protect your creatures with Blossoming Defense and Heroic Intervention. If the coast is clear and/or the timing is right go for the kill with the Electrostatic Pummeler. Bristling Hydra is super good vs control if it sticks to the board. Things I would change are:Greenbelt Rampager is just a bad card. Although it does work amazingly against the aggro matches. I am not sure whether to get rid of it or not or add 1-2 more. Uncaged Fury can finish a game yes, but you'd rather be more interactive than getting 2 or 3 for 1'd. Plus vs control its either going to get countered or its gunna sit in your hand cause you'll be lucky to have creatures.
