That's a good tactic to be sure but I might just try a different deck/build for that, I'll keep this one in BANT colors. But the Valakut synergy really seems interesting, didn't even think of that.

Now that you mentioned it, I think I have seen a similar deck somewhere that utilized Kessig Wolf Run. I'm not sure if it was Modern or Legacy though. I might try Rouge's Passage first though, seems less of a hassle to fit into the deck since I don't have to add another color. I was thinking about adding Emeria Angel just for the sake of fun but I dunno, might just end up being an uneccessary "win more" card.
Cool deck but I would make some improvements. First and foremost, mana base needs some work. Sadly in Legacy that's the usualy the most expensive part. But adding a fecth or two and some Ravnica duals would do wonders. Now I would get rid of the Holly Day, it's not a good card. Instead play Swords to Plowshares. Also, I'd add a Brainstorm and/or Ponder. I would do wonders for your card advantage. Since you're playing Spirit Tokens, I'd splash black and add Lingering Souls. Also Geist of Saint Traft would love to be in this deck. I guess you could also benefit from a cheap permanent removal so I'd suggest Oblivion Ring.
Yeah, new recruiter looks badass! I'm thinking about fitting it into one of my deck too.
This looks like a nicely built deck! I don't really see how you could improve it further except maybe switching mirran for serra avanger. But I'm not sure I'd do even that. Mirran Crusader can be a very tedious creature to deal with, I play him myself in my Rock deck.
There's more win cons (Mirran Crusader, Batterskull, Planeswalkers, maybe even Deathrite Shaman) so they're Gurmag and Mandrils aren't really neccessary to win but are useful especialy against Tarmogoyfs. I could cut them but would need something good to replace them with. I'll reconsider it.
JItte and Sorin's tokens come in handy in that regard aswell but other than that I honestly don't have the means to balance it out. That's probably the main problem I have with this deck. Gurmag and Mandrils can be tedious with Confidant, but at least I usually fetch the Batterskull with SfM before I could flip it with Confidant. I was thinking about including Sensei's Divining Top. Do you think it would be better to replace Gurmag/Mandrils with something else? I really don't wanna cut Confidants, they're just too handy.
Here's what I think: I like your deck but I don't really like the commander. I've checked it out a bit and it seems this is an aggressive soldier/white weenie deck, right? So your commander basicly does nothing unless you are dealt damage but there's no other cards that really take advantage of you taking damage, besides Darien. There are other more effective means to get soldier tokens than this. So I would change the commander to something else. Brimaz, King of Oreskos maybe?I haven't tested your deck, I base my opinion simply by looking at your list and drawing some random sample hands so I could be wrong.
Marchesa seems pretty cool, I love the synergy with Mikaeus! :)
My thoughts exactly, especialy since this is an Elf deck full of mana dorks. I'd cut those lands down to 33-30. Also consider adding Genesis Wave and Staff of Domination. Fun guaranteed. ;)
I'd strongly consider adding 4x Putird Imp.
Nic Fit is an awesome archetype and Punishing Fire is annoying as hell (for the opponent ofcourse). Love this deck a lot.
Definitely an interesting concept, been a long time since I've seen a sunburst deck. But playing strictly basic lands could get you in trouble, even with all the "mana-dorks". I'd suggest you add some duals, if you're on a budget try cheap duals (like Caves of Koilos and the like). Also a fetchland or two wouldn't hurt I think.
A nice equipment based deck! To spice it up a bit I would add Stoneforge Mystic and maybe Batterskull. Also, since you're packing artifact lands and lots of other artifacts, Mox Opal would give you a big advantage.
