Have you tried akroan crusader instead of the satyr hoplite for token swarms?

I understand. Putting cards on top of library is much more annoying compared to just sending them to the hand.

You could try Delay as a funny back up counterspell for annoyances as a 1-2 of in sideboard. Also,Boomerang is another great bounce instant, since it lets you bounce any permanent for UU.

3 color decks are fun for that very reason that overwhelms you. There are so many fun options to choose from, especially if you play Edh(i don't actually know if you play it). I find joy in making competitive multicolored decks, and uses different strategies to win besides the same top 20 modern decks or so that are always used in tournaments. My biggest projects at the the moment are making a modern aggro esper build using lots of legendary creatures and some removal; and making some changes to the modern midrange bant build that also uses a decent number of legendary creatures, and counter spells/removal.

This decklist has also inspired me for another decklist to make for modern lol. You will get to see both decklists in a day or 2.

Nice deck! I have always liked the blink cards. Seeing your deck has inspired me to build a naya deck using blink cards for avanlanche riders and acidic slime.

The hornet's nest would still be needed for the infinite burn with purphoros. The only problem with the deck in my opinion is that the combo requires a lot of cards to work, but overall the combo is intriguing.

Purphoros would be great for an infinite burn combo with all the tokens being able to swarm the field with your nifty combo.

Most of the good fishies are from the older sets.

i never knew such a card existed. Thank You. That card will help splendidly with the amount of creatures i use that require an opponent with an island to attack.

edh is a fun casual format to play, especially if you play with lots of people.

talrand would not work well since i don't have a lot of instants and sorceries.

i understand what you are saying. I made this deck mostly because i never seen many mannichi edh decks and decided to try it out. I had some difficulties with building the deck the way it is now. Mannichi would have obviously been easier to build around if it was blue or izzet colors. do you have suggestions as to what to replace for some of the cards you suggested that would benefit most in my deck. without deviating from my "first strike" plan.

I might be able to fit them in the deck. I know both urabrask and vorinclex would be good creatures to stall the opponent. what do you suggest I take out for urabrask and vorinclex?
