Deck discussion for What is the plural of Samurai?

I think the plural of Samurai(or what I can guess from your deck) is death. Or slaughter, or maim, ect.

This is a really neat tribal Wumpus, never knew about some of these samurai. Kudos for the job well done here

Turns out the plural of Samurai is...Samurai...Like deer.

This one always does well in our tribal tourneys.

ur right, its cuz samurai, like ninja, and any other japanese words doesnt have a plural since its not english, if its japanese and ur using it in an english sentence, just treat it like fish.... only in this case the fish have large katana that could split the moon in twane

The conversation was about who would win in a fight; samurai or ninjas?
Samurai won when somebody compared them to Rocky and Bullwinkle. No drugs or alcohol involved, just boredom.

Ok, I have to ask. How are Samurai and Ninjas like Rocky and Bullwinkle?

boredom, my friend, is the worst of drugs.

Ninjas can't kill samurai, Boris and Natasha can't kill moose and squirrel. That's the short version, the long version was an hour long rant... I think Brian may be right lol

Only so many times you can listen to the lonely island though, so it sets in regardless of if we want it to.

....um dont mean to burst your bubble, but the only reason why ninja exist is to kill samurai.

thats y ninja attack without warning and before u'r aware of their pressence, cuz they dont have the skills to kill a samurai head on, they fight for victory not for honor, that's y...*urgh*... *got shanked in the brainstem by ninja

p.s. the movie ninja assassin was redundant because by definition ninja are assassins

the more u know

so yah, just so ur clear ninja beat samurai, tactics over skill

^^ That is if you pit a Ninja and Samurai in a situation where the Samurai is not aware of the presence of this Ninja.

But if the Samurai is ready, bye bye Ninja =D

i tend to look at coat of arms and door of destiny as unnecessary in a tribe deck that has enough good lords, like samurai. they work great in decks without lords, or without good lords. thank you for the comment though! :)

i really like this deck, but i have no idea what i could suggest to make it better, maybe sword of vengence?

Yeah, the plural of any Japanese word is the same as the singular - ninja, katana etc. are the word for both one and many, it's just a quirk of how the language is constructed.

Ah... The Samurai cards. Been a long time since people have put use into them. As a matter of fact, my friend is making a samurai/ninja deck.

great deck, but i think you should change it plains and forest and add an overun or few giant growths and familiar ground.

i think you have too many legendarys in this deck and they would end up killing eachother but otherwise it would be awesome

0

because this is mostly aggro i have rarely had any concerns with the legend rule. players tend to try and kill my legends quickly after i tell them what they do, so it is nice to have spares. :P

Just to point out, they kind of did bring Bushido back, to a certain extent, with the card ichorclaw myr. It may only be half a bushido, but you said "or something similar to it". (This is in reference to the main comment at the top of the page)

One fun card to put into this deck, in keeping with the bushido theme, is Konda, Lord of Eiganjo.

Growing up in the world of magic I had some pretty amazing Samurai decks in my day. :D
If you want you should look at my amazing idea on a new deck that I put together. I'm play testing and running the deck looking for holes. if you see any let me know in the comments.
