Deck discussion for Infect Deck *Low Budget*

Consider dropping the Fogs and adding in some more pump, Prey's Vengeance for example. This will allow you to hit harder faster. A Fog in the opening hand that could have been a +2/+2 might be the difference between 8 poison counters on turn three and 10.

I welcome any comments or criticism you can offer on any of the decks that I have posted here (just click on my name to see the deck list). Thanks in advance!

I would drop the Fogs for Mutagenic Growths. I would also prefer Glistener Elf to Ichor Rats. Consider Vampire's Bite, Vines of Vastwood, and Virulent Swipe (hooray for V's!) as possible replacements for Giant Growth.

If you're looking for Haste, Strider Harness is a good way to get cheap Haste into a non-red deck. A slightly more expensive ($ and mana) way to grant Haste, along with vigilance, first strike, trample, and +2/+0, is Sword of Vengeance. As long as we're talking about equipment, Piston Sledge is excellent for cheap infect decks.

okay Fog really wasn't a great idea lolz
but i prefer groundswell and giant growth over prey's vengeance cause you never know how fast they kill your creatures with doomblade etc.. so it's now sure if you get a +4 with rebound, same thing with virulent swipe

indeed glistener elf is really a good idea but it's from the new phyrexia version so i would have to wait some additional weeks. maybe i'll add him later. same for mutagenic growth

vampire's bite is a good option but what should i take out? giant growth is in my opinion better because sometimes it could be helpfull to give your creature +3/+3 instead of just +3/+0

vines of vastwood is great but costs 2 for +4+4. okay the shroud is really helpfull against doomblade etc but i wouldn' put 4 of it in because i only have 20 lands :/ might be hard to pay 2 green + getting a creature out, instead 1green + getting a creature out is easier.

Stider harness haste is too slow, was looking for something like 1mana and 1 creature gets haste or something like ~3 mana and every creature gets haste (look at ashling's prerogative 2mana and every creature would get haste and some of my opponents creatures would come into play tapped.. insane)

sword of vengeance is a bit mana costy.. but still could be helpfull if i can't kill him in round 3~4 maybe add 2 of them in?

and btw thanks for the tipp with piston sledge.. great idea it's an artifact so throne of geth triggers it to finish some opponents + for 3 mana +3/+1 constantly is just great \o/ .. this weapon cast on a plague stinger and in addition a giant growth or groundswell could make me win the game in round 4 easily. even if the opponent has doom blade :>
