I had thought about that too. I had only planned on using it once I ran outta cards And hopefully by then I'm to the point of bringing stuff out for free.

It can be narrowed down. Thanks for checking it out for me, I appreciate the help.
Thanks bud. She passed away June of last year. I had pretty much quit playing magic but picked it back up cause it was something my lil brother and me have in common. As for the Jungle Shrine I hadn't even thought about it that way. I was just using it as a tri land to cut down on mana required. I'm probably gonna build it both ways. I'm already pretty much done building the deck physically and from what I've found on mtgo it's not that expensive, especially compared to the physical deck has been. Has took me almost a year to gather it up.
Mainly just use her to make my opponent discard a card. Or if I get out Nocturnus and happen to turn up any nonblack card like my lands or conscription, I can use the minus to to search my library for a card shuffle my deck and put that card on top of my library. So you get to pretty much just put you like another Nocturnus on top you get your bonus plus have another ready to come out the next time. Yeah people love when that happens to them............lol
Now this is my kinda deck, I love the vampires. From my experience with them though, I've never had very good luck with the Highborn. Whenever I put it out it pretty much died......lol I would recommend some Vampire Nighthawks at least another Nocturnus and more Gatekeepers. That card has got me out of several jams,,,,,,,,lol Here's a link to my vampire deck, maybe it will give you some ideas. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=54350
I had actually thought about the hydra too. But I can't make up my mind between it and some eldrazis.
Both are great cards, I'm just trying to keep it t2 legal. Thanks for the advice though.
It's mainly there for whenever Nirkana Revenant comes out and makes all my swamps count for two swamps when tapped, so more or less, it only costs four swamps. Then you've just made on of you're big vampires a complete beast.........lol
Great deck. The only thing that I'm not a big fan of is the Bloodlord. I would probably switch it out for something like the Hexmage. Then you can get rid of those pesky plainswalkers or remove all the counters on these annoying level up creatures...lol Here's a link to my deck. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=54350
I have to agree with these guys. Single spells just make it to hard to pull those cards. You end up relying to much on luck. The last guy gave you a really good list of vampires to add. I would also think about Vampire Nocturnus, just wait and make sure they are gonna have him in M11 to keep him legal for T2. I agree about the Raging Goblin. It's mainly just there as a 1 drop creature. As for the others, Goblin Tunneler's tap ability makes any creature I choose that has a power of 2 or less unblockable. So just imagine making Warren Instigator unblockable with his double strike and then with his special abilty getting to drop two more goblins from my hand without paying for them. As for the Fireboar, same deal, make him unblockable with Goblin Tunneler's tap ability, then attack and his power and toughness swap and he becomes a 7/1 unblockable creature. And you're right, I do love both of those dragons.
