megrim + burning inquiry = awesome. I built a deck just around that though I unbuilt it not to long ago. I think I might just make a black blue red megrim deck lol

I totally said that to, I still think howl's would be fun to run in here to just for some extra win-source and maybe some coats in or at least sideboarded.

You should put some fatestitchers in here they would do pretty well in this deck

I had the random Idea to go and splash this blue with some spreading seas and crystallization and the like but i'm not sure how I should change it up

Yes hipponox the copies would make copies and those copies would also make copies. So you start with one and 3 turns later you have 8. Pretty ridiculous but then malestorm pulse would just kick its ass.

Anyway looks like a fun deck I personally would run silence on the side and add a path, cartographer and 2 journey's to the main deck.

You should throw in some glory warfare instead of honor

Those are both in the deck XD And lapse of certainty is only so this deck can deal with Burn or control cause journey and o-ring aren't super useful against creatureless decks

Protection negates damage from whatever particular color even if it is a blanket effect. Here's the rule

A creature with protection from a quality cannot be enchanted, equipped, blocked, or targeted by anything with that quality, and all damage that would be dealt by a source of that quality will be prevented unless the damage can't be prevented (e.g. a creature with protection from red cannot be enchanted by red enchantments, blocked by red creatures, targeted by red spells and abilities, or take damage from red sources, barring exceptions which explicitly state otherwise).

Maybe, but any good jund deck would sideboard fallout and if it was creature-less then they would probably run banquet and fleshbag marauder in the sideboard to.

You should put some bone splinters in here as well as soul stair expedition both are really good for mono black decks like this.

why isn't baneslayer in here lol 5/5 for 5 mana is good not to mention it has every good ability in white

This would definitely be a good deck if it was going against a creature filled jund deck, but the best jund deck I have seen only had 4 Bloodbraid elves and the rest was burn and control. The prot red is good though cause it blocks terminate, and bolt. But he can still be hit by earthquake, wretched banquet, doom blade, infest, volcanic fallout, hideous end and pyroclasm. And since he's an artifact I guess a jund deck can naturalize him to.
