a few cards that you might want to check out:
braid of fire
furnace of wrath
greater auramancy

and a possible idea would be to have some board wipers (wrath of god, day of judegemnt, some red global damages) then play your blistering firecat and swing for double damage whith furnace of wrath out. and with braid of fire you should have a decent amount of mana to use.

its suprisingly effective. and it can be made relatively cheap, the main cards aren't that much.
