Deck discussion for Red Control

this deck looks like valakut ramp gone stupid. this is just way too slow. valakut is slow if you dont have ramp. hellkite wont see the light of day unless you use ramp, or dragonstorm. this deck will never see a creature on the field until turn 3 (a weak little 2/1 ruin blaster dies to any token or creature), and even then, there's a chance you could get mana screwed. also, i understand that you will attempt to use burn to stabilize the field, but you'll end up losing card advantage over your opponent. just play valakut ramp, you'll be better off there than here.

My problem with this deck is that pyromancer ascension is not going to go anywhere, as you have very few spells for an ascension deck. As above, this is really slow Valakut. For authentic red control, run liquidmetal coating and shattering spree to give red just as much spot removal(not burn) as white. Also, I'm not sure why you want to run Bordogan hellkite, where hoard-smelter dragon offers all kinds of fun perks, especially if run with liquidmetal coating.
