Deck Description

What’s going on guys DNinja89 here and I’m back with another Gem or jank. This week we finally have my favorite tribe in magic Ninjas. I hope you enjoy the deck and if you want to see it in action then check out my YouTube channel at D-ninja89 or search for gem or jank. The deck will be on my YouTube channel tomorrow as of writing this.

How to Play

So the whole strategy of the deck is that we play evasive or unblockable creatures then swing in with our ninjas. We also have a ton of card draw, control methods, and ways of keeping our ninjas safe.

Deck discussion for Gem or jank: Ninjas.

I think your build might be able to abuse 1 or two cyclone summoner.
In both of The games I saw you had plenty of lands for it, and ninjitsuing it back into the hand could be an idea.

One direction where I could see developement is by using creatures with haste.
I know that there is a couple of black and artifact creatures with both haste and evasive abilities, and ninjitzuing them will be a nice speed up. You don't cast them at the directly same turn but rather the next where they can attack alongside whatever else you played.
I'll drop a few cardnames in a few seconds...

Gingerbrute is the obvious card but Avalanche Caller and Vengeful Reaper might also be of use.
I actually had a 2 cost bat in mind, but it wasn't legal.

Ok also I think tomorrow I may post a discussion on here. Mainly just a short explanation of what my main goal on YouTube is. I’ll also talk about my deck building theroy and why I play pretty much sub optimal decks.

Also I apologize for that third match…that I probably shouldn’t have shown but I wanted to make people aware of what goes on on arena.

No problem :)
Many other content creators face that...

A few things of note:
1) Trimming down on some of the extraneous ninjas and focusing on running 4 of a few of the most efficient ones will help with consistency a ton. You don't have an easy way to tutor out all of your ninjas, so having a ton of niche choices is not amazing. Ingenious Infiltrator and Ninja of the Deep Hours are two of your best tools for consistency, getting you deeper into the deck quicker, but Azra Smokeshaper and a number of the others are mediocre at best.
2) Unearth allows you to reanimate your small creatures (like Call of the Death Dweller does) for only 1 mana, which frees up your mana more for more plays. Plus it has cycling which can allow you to dig on card deeper in the late game.
3) Unsommon effects are decent, but flat out destroying creatures will be much more efficient long term. Replacing some of those effects with more hard removal should help get through for damage more often.
4) Tokens could help out a ton with getting in for ninjustu, bitterblossom is a decent way to consistently pump out small fliers to push your ninjustu effects through and stall.
5) You are in blue, so running some counterspells could help you prevent your opponent from interacting with your creatures. Running them in the mainboard might be a bit clunky, but definitely having some in the sideboard will help you in a number of matchups.
6) Blood on the Snow is a lot of mana to commit to, if you feel like you need a boardwipe in the main deck something like damnation or bontu's last reckoning will be more efficient and can come down earlier.

Good suggestions, however I am limited to what is on arena, having access to wild cards, and what is in my collection. It’s one of the cons of being a content creator on a shoestring budget. But I do agree with everything you have said this and many of my decks are not built optimally. I do that on purpose so it makes people think of what could make this deck better or they just might think I’m an idiot lol.
