Thanks for your advice. I considered gladecover scout and Helm of the Gods. My colleagues and I plan with decks $12 and under. This deck is about $10 on TCG player.

I would put it in, but it would go over the budget.
Good suggestion, but I designed the deck to fall within a strict budget.
Sorry, correct. But, the deck is already pushing the limit for what I would consider "budget" due to the three copies of Always Watching. With some extra financial room, Rancor should definitely replace something.
Unflinching Courage.
Good suggestion. However, it is meant to be a merfolk deck that costs less than $70.
Thanks! Good suggestion!
Haha. :) A mistake. Thanks for catching it. I was just screwing around when I made this deck anyway. You should check out one of my better decks. http://www.mtgvault.com/dmgosman/decks/perfect-infect/
There actually is no green mana usage in the deck. The only green card is mutagenic growth and it can be paid with either 2 life or one green mana.
Good call. Thanks for the suggestion. :) I added a few draw cards to the deck because I've found it can lose momentum a bit early. Plus they still trigger guttersnipe and young pyro. You're right though, I need to remove at least a few draw cards.
Thanks, good call.
I agree. Thanks for your input.

Any tips for sideboard?
Good catch
I know. I still need to fix it.
Just incase you did not know, the "Heroic" trait is only affected by spells that "target" the creature. Things like "All attacking creatures get..." or "Creatures you control get..." don't actually "target" them. BTW, thanks again for your advise on my decks. It was quite helpful.
Thanks for the advise! :)
Good call. Thanks!
