Pawn Shop: trading in trinkets for material advantage
Oswald Fiddlebender has some insane synergy with artifacts, compounded almost infinitely with Goblin Engineer. Either card toolboxes whatever artifact you need, and there are some absolutely nasty tricks you can do with either/both of them.
Fiddlebender can sack of a 1-drop, fetch Corridor Mentor, which untaps him, then sac off the Mentor for a 3-drop, all in 1 turn, and for 2 white mana. That gives you access to Ensnaring Bridge (prison) and Simulacrum Synthesizer (win con) in 1 go. It can also just sac a 1-drop for Winter Moon (prison), Tithing Blade (removal), or any of the combo pieces to the MANY combos this deck can offer.
Win conditions:
1- Crackdown Construct combo: Crackdown Construct + Lightning Greaves = infinite/infinite with Haste and Hexproof
2- Simulacrum Synthesizer: playing, recycling, searching for artifacts
3- Urza's Saga tokens: huge tanks in this build
4- Thopter Combo: Thopter Foundry + Sword of the Meek = tons of 1/1 flyers (that can get through Ensnaring Bridge if you need) and life
Synergy breakdown:
1- Fiddle + any 1 drop and 2 white mana = Ensnaring Bridge turn 3 (or 2 with Opal)
2- Wizard's Rockets and Chromatic Star fix mana colors and want to be sacked to either sack outlet for the +1 in material. All 7 copies turn into a 3 drop with the Fiddle /Monitor combo
3- Fiddle + Engineer = recycled mass synergy. Sack, fetch, sack, recycle. Throw in the Monitor (that untaps), and you can run through the cycle as much as you can manage with available mana. Meaning, you can recycle Spellbomb to bounce, Lantern to exile, or Tithing Blade for removal, Haywire Mite for removal and lifegain, all while pulling useful artifacts from your deck and/or drawing off the cantrip 1-drops
4- Fiddle fetches Winter Moon by sacking a 1-drop, which imprisons opponent (hurts you much less), and you can sack off the Moon with Engineer on opponent's endphase, then recycle it next turn, trapping opponent with minimal land usage while you can use your lands as much as you want
5- Urza's Saga fetches a cantrip 1-drop that either sac outlet sacs for material advantage if you don't need it to fetch a Portable Hole, Spellbomb, Lantern, Mox, Pithing Needle, or inevitable sideboard 1-drop
6- Fiddle into Ethersworn Canonist throws most modern decks into a lock while you smile and keep on chugging along completely undeterred (which you can pull turn 2 (with Opal) or 3)
7- The sideboard options are absolutely insane with the fetching abilities, giving you ridiculously increased access to hate on almost anything you want that can be whipped out turn 2 (with Opal) or 3
