The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

I've wanted to build a deck with an internal win condition that simultaneously has good control for some time now, and so far this is the best solution I've been able to make. Blightning was the lynchpin of the idea, and for the life of me I don't know why the card isn't more popular. Turn 3 midrange discard outlet that hits for 3 damage and is basically never a dead draw, and it goes for a little over a quarter.I'm also a ludicrous fan of thermo-alchemist, which is another card that, in my opinion, is extremely underrated. 2 mana for a consistent win condition (in decks like this) that doubles as a credible early game blocker and in a deck like this basically forces the opponent to waste a removal on it or they will be drained for 7-10 damage by a 2 mana thorn that goes for 50 cents (which is at least higher than it was 6 months ago). The rest of the deck is about retaining card advantage/field control while kicking off burn effects.Gifts ungiven is a powerhouse in this build as the flashback mechanics positively decimate for the game finishers, in particular an early game bump in the night followed by a flash-backed bump in the late game is 6 grueling damage for 1 card, and its a great outlet for gifts as it generates advantage no matter what opponent does. The same can be said of past in flames. Besides being a win condition by itself (it with 3 mana leftover in the late game means 9 damage to the face for basically nothing), it's a gifts miracle that keeps on giving as its flashback cost is reasonable and this deck provides more than enough 1 mana outlets to flash back.Only real possible dead draws are damnation and terminate, but as they are only 6 copies and most decks at least run SOME creature presence it seemed worth the risk.I'm sure this build might draw a few comments about not running 4 snaps and the lack of cryptic commands, but my feelings on those cards, and in particular the concentration with which they are seen in decks, are not shared by the mtg populace. I would be happy to discuss my choices on these topics should anyone wonder.I havn't explored the sideboard options yet, but grixis gives me access to what is, in my opinion, the best spread of hatred the sideboard has to offer, so I'm not too worried about it.Thoughts from the community would be much appreciated.
