Beginner budget build that's modern legal illustrating a basic mechanic. The whole build top to bottom shouldn't run more than $30, and most of that goes to the Lords of Extinction and Witherbloom Commands.Ignoring the entire thing that is Dredge, this build throws cards in the grave then benefits from said fat grave.Nine cards are X/X's based on how fat the grave is, eight cards want to be milled and pulled back, the rest of the build either mills with a bonus or just mills really, really well, aka Supplier. The lands are also super helpful, as the fetch lands fatten the grave automatically with a 1 life bonus (slightly better than the old budget fetch lands). The curve is low, so the six cycle lands are great topdecks, as they keep the deck moving and are essentially never dead draws. Plus the higher land count cuts down on mulligans without really hurting you. If you need the cycle lands in the opening hand for mana, drop one on turn one and come out swinging the next turn with the massive amount of good two-drop options. The strategy of the deck is very simple. You're going to out material opponent by milling which creates more material for you. There's almost no interaction, beyond Witherbloom, because you don't really care what opponent is doing, you're trying to outrace opponent and/or out material opponent in a game of attrition. As long as opponent doesn't have grave hate, this should work very nicely. At higher levels of play, opponent absolutely will have grave hate, especially games 2 and 3, but at the beginner level, that's not that big an issue. The kicker to the whole thing is you get to use Jegantha, who isn't all that bad in a build like this.
