Deck Description

another standard deck. this one focuses on small creatures to swarm the field and then a massive explosion that clears the field of all the opponents creatures leaving u open for the win. the main player in this deck is magus of the disk. u have 2 options for this bad boy, put indestructibility on him and blast away until the opponent has nothing and then attack slowly for the win. or play dauntless escort, sac him, and save ur creatures while the opponents field is empty. this deck is full of small, easily played creatures to make sure the ur field is full no matter what. an absolutely deadly deck, annoys the hell out of me when i play it against myself. this standard thing isnt as bad as i thought it was going to be. enjoy

oh hell, i got all excited when i thought rebuff was standard. the 2 notmal creatures r in there for 1 simple reason. without the diverse lands i rely on in non standard decks i have no real assurance that i will have a forest and a plains on turn 2, and for this deck to be effective it is extremely important to play 1 creature each turn for the first 3 turns. all those good 2/2s that have abilities cost 1 white and 1 green. after playing this several times the mana works out turn 2 about 50% of hte time and that jsut doesnt work for me. this way i will get a creature out turn 2 for sure

do u have any suggestions abou treplacing rebuff

+1 other then rebuff the best suggestion I can make is Path to Exile for to reasons. One it's still effective cheap creature removal...a little more restrictive but it still takes care of many threats. Two, if your land binds up on you, then you can target one of your own creatures and search for a basic land. Both helpful and cool.

yeah, i'm sorry to say that magus of the disk and rebuff the wicked have been out of standard for like 2 years. =(
but this is a fantastic extended combo =)
and its pretty cheap for a deck, too. that's always a plus. =)
