I'd take out the Sejiri Merfolks and add 4 Soul's Attendants, and i'd take out the Barbed Battlegears and add 4 Basilisk Collars. Also check out Ajani's Pridemates.

I probably wouldn't go with Wurmcoil Engine or Darksteel Sentinel too as they're expensive to play, i'd take these out and add some Survival Caches and maybe some Preordains / Negates.

Try changing some Plains / Islands to Seachrome Coasts / Glacial Fortresses too!

Yeah I'm maybe gonna cut the Quests if they don't play as well as I'd like. Haven't actually made the deck yet, waiting on a few last cards to arrive, but will definitely be able to tell afterwards what to cut and put in sideboard.

Ok made a few changes, cut the Kor Skyfishers and added 2 each of Leonin Skyhunter and Kemba's Skyguard.

Added 4 Brave the Elements and 2 more Quests to make the set.

Only problem now is there are 66 cards and none of the ones in the deck look bad enough to cut =/ anymore suggestions?

There's a pretty cool card called Last Kiss that would be quite apt for this deck. Not sure if it fits in with the amount of things you have going on but it's quite a nice card for the theme =]

Yeah I appreciate some of those points but rather than taking them out, do you have any suggestions about how I'd make a cat deck work assuming it has to include at least 1 Argentum Armor and 1 Quest for the Holy Relic?

I love both the cards and rather than changing direction of the deck would like it to be based on those, whilst still being a 'cat' themed deck. That's also one of the reasons I didn't use Soul's Attendant, I want all of the creatues to be cats.

Should I put in more quests? Or use cheaper (if possible) cats?

Hi, i'd offer advice but I'm not really familiar with the cards.

I did draw sample hands quite a few times though to see what it'd give me and a lot of the time i'd get a few lands and some high cost cards.

In my opinion I'd try and adjust the mana curve slightly and either take some of the higher cost cards out or add more lands / ways of bringing the higher cost cards out to the battlefield.

Hi, not sure if it would push the mana curve too much but Contagion Engine could potentially make the deck work quicker. Costs 4 more than Contagion Clasp at 6 each but when you Proliferate for 4 you get to Proliferate twice.

Also it puts -1/-1 counters on all target players creatures, rather than just the 1 creature. So it could possibly make the deck quicker albeit costing more mana to get it on the battlefield?

I like this deck as I see it but I'm not as familiar with red cards as I am a few other colours. However, I notice you are going more for burns with instants / sorceries and so I think this deck would benefit from removing some of the creatures you have and replacing with Fire Servants.

4 Fire Servants at that. Even if you only had 2 on the battlefield it would take a spell that would deal 5 damage for example, to 20.

I'd also try to squeeze in another Chandra Ablaze just to give you that much more chance of getting her out in a game.

Yeah not going for speed games, game plan is to get as many cats out and build an army up, whilst getting equipments onto the field for Kemba, Kha Regent, or failing that, Sunspear Shikari.

Replaced the Kemba's Skyguards with Kor Skyfishers since your post, to allow for bouncing of cheap creatures back to my hand to allow for more counters to be placed on the Quests. Do you think this seems more appropriate now?

PS: Would like stoneforge mystics but wanted all the creatures in the deck to be cats, and they're also v. expensive!
