mono black control is making a comeback. with aggro finally starting to back off and midrange and control decks getting better, mono black control can do some work. aggro is one of the deck's easier matchups. this deck has the capability to take the edge off of the speed by taking out champion of the parish or experiment one early with a tragic slip, devour flesh, or ultimate price. preventing the triggers is key. by your turn 4 u should have about 2 blood artists and another creature and your opponent should have 3-4 creatures. thats when u drop the mutilate. if they have 4 creatures and u have 2 blood artists and a gloom surgeon, they lose 14 and u gain 14. midrange isnt as easy but not hard to come away with the win. control is the tough one. if u play against control with this deck, the best thing to do is to reveal as little information as possible and make a mental note of the cards they play. then concede game 1. game 2 they probably havent sided in anything, and you know exactly what to play. that makes the match a 50/50 chance for u to win.
