I've changed this a lot from the passive control it used to be. Now it's mostly about mana acceleration into a superior board position with lots of board wipes and some countermagic. Almost all of the wipes conveniently keep Nekusar alive (barely), but deal with most threats and the counterspells can deal with the rest. Almost all of your nonland permenants deal with mana accel, card draw or damage based on drawing or discarding.
