The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Fun with Goblins. First attempt at a Goblin Deck, comments welcome.

Lackey, Siege-Gang, Piledriver, Cheiftain, Grenade = Good King, Instigator, Marshal, War Strike, Fodder = OK Hoard, Raging, Warrens, Rise = Bad (too slow) Quest = Horrible (because it's far too slow to matter if you built a Goblin deck properly) Consider: Goblin Guide, Goblin Recruiter, Mogg Flunkies, Goblin Matron and Goblin Warchief

The quest can be great with the marshal and other cards that give you more than one goblin at a time. Even if it doesn't make it into high-level goblin decks, it's certainly fun to play. But this deck clearly needs Curse of the Fire Penguin.
I'll try out some of your suggestions. Out of curiosity, why is Raging Goblin slow? I thought he was a pretty decent turn 1 drop.
Raging Goblin is great on turn 1, not so great later in the game. I guess nowadays he's just overshadowed by Goblin Guide and Goblin Bushwhacker.
Raging is slow because he's only good on turn 1. After that, he's outclassed by anything, and top decking him late is junk. I'd rather play a turn 1 Goblin Patrol. After it's first swing it ties with Raging and after that it takes the lead.
What makes the better turn 1 drop? Goblin Guide or Goblin Lackey? I know Guide comes out swinging, but Lackey and get bigger goblins out fast. When I pull both of them in a starting hand I'm torn as to which one is better to play first.
Depends what you have in hand, and what you're up against. If you can assure yourself getting Lackey in on turn 1 and drop a big threat(Siege-Gang, Chieftain, Recruiter, Piledriver) then Lackey on turn 1 for sure. If not, Guide on turn 1 is never a bad play.
i prefer reckless one over hoard, it has haste.... nuff said
