^ rahl said it all. protection from damage = protection from damage.

Spellbomb is a great mb card these days. Only if you're running black tho. You want to get the most out of your mb cards. The amount of decks playing out of their gy is higher than its been in a long time. Spellbomb shuts down frites and slows zombies down to a crawl. It's an awesome advantage card and if all else fails it gives you some black draw
The rules state that a creature with protection from a color cannot be dealt damage by a source of that color. Even if it doesn't target the crusader, it deals damage and therefore cannot touch the crusader. If the card said destroy all creatures, like doj, then it would most certainly destroy everything. It's a red source that deals red damage. It can't touch the crusader. Read the rules.
Not true. Look up the rules with those cards before you comment. Crusader is immune to slagstorm. That's it.
sweet jesus. this deck has tits.
I like this version much better. Keep up the good work.
65 will NOT matter in this setup. What part of that is "bad" or bad advice? It's pretty apparent to anyone who has a brain, right? i dont know why it's a cardinal sin to run more than 60 cards these days. Have you seen the deck list? there's not a bad draw in there. why would you worry about going to 65 if all of the cards work well together? this isn't football. There's no salary cap or limit to number of players your allowed to have. if your players are all good and work well together, why the hell would you cut 5 of them? expecially with what patchkey said about the probes. the card literally takes up 0 space in a deck and can only benefit you. fucking 60 nazi's drive me up the wall. "decreases the chances? by what? a half of a quarter of a percent? 80 cards is too many. 65 is just fine.
I think that's a good choice. the stromkirks and stormbloods can just suck it when you bring out the timely's and the fiend hunters. and the delvers will have trouble if you load up on fiend hunters and o-rings. don't worry about those few cards. be more worried about what you're going to do with all the prize money this deck will win you.
i know what you mean. i always try to avoid breaking my decks down at all before tournaments. 65 isn't that many, I guess. everyone is running 60 these days, though. it just ssems wrong to do anything different.
and i dont know about running 65 cards in the mainboard. but if you say it works consistantly then i guess you know best.
how often do the gutshots come in handy?
Shit this looks tight. I can't believe this cost less than $15.
*lost 0-3, not list 0-3
Sweet deck. There's probably very little I would change about it, if anything. I've played one similar to this with my poison control deck and list 0-3... Your deck looks even nastier than his tho. The timely re-enforcments is a nice addition to your sideboard tho. It definitely makes the difference in games against fast decks. Nice work.
