True. Against burn need to side in more planeswalkers and side out some of the removal. Probably want to keep Blessed Alliances, because they give you life if needed.

How about Vessel of Nascency to dig towards Triska or Tree? That actually could work with delirium as well.

Got the landbase finally working. Gonna test this build against the other archetypes of Kaladesh Standard.

With some cheap and small flyers, the deck could benefit from spells or permanents that boost up their power. There are anthems in Esper colors, ofc, but the deck aims to play it's spells at instant speed. If anyone knows any good boosting spells for flyer token/flash/counter-type deck, I'll be thankful for suggestions.

I like the idea. But your curve looks like it could use more lands? Perhaps 25 or even 26? Sideboard could have a few alternative instant removals, like Stasis Snare or Grasp of Darkness. If you're looking for bunch of flyers, you could try 1-3 Hangarback Walkers, which will give Thopters for flying attacks after dying.

I like the combo with Nahiri and Displacer, but there are some cards in the deck I can't fully understand. For example, Oblivion Sower is for ramp? because his ability is cast trigger, not re-usable with Displacer's ability.

Other is Dragonlord Ojutai. Good flyer for Always Watching decks, but otherwise just 5/4 for 5 mana.

I'd put Gisela and Linvala at least into the main deck, because if left unanswered, they can win games on their own. I guess the deck is about cards that you own, otherwise I'd suggest 1 x Archangel Avacyn and perhaps 1 x Bruna and maybe 2-3 x Thalia's Lancers (?) They all have very good ETB triggers to be abused with the Displacer. :)

Yeah, well ... it depends which one you get on board first, Triska or Separator. ;)

Separator comboes with the Tree in the GY making 1/1 flyer that can switch it's toughness with opponent's life total. I call that a pretty good wincon, but like you said - you need to get the Tree into the gy first. If the opponent doesn't want or doesn't have removal for it, you can always Murder it yourself. ;)

I thought about having only 3 Triskas, but ended up for four because of the combo to work properly. I'd say you can pretty much switch between Soul Separators and Triskas, or even have like 2 or 3 of both if you want, because they both work with the Tree; one with tree being used and the other with Tree in the graveyard. If I'd re-arrange the deck, I'd probably try 3 of both, and move 1xDuress and perhaps 1xLilli's Oath to the side.

Soul Separator works miracles when applied to graveyard Tree, not so much if it's been exiled by white removal(s). I had the card in mind, and I see it's valuable sideboard card against other controls. If the Tree is hit by Ob Nixilis, Murder, Ruinous path or anything non-exile, Lilli can bring it back for another round. Slow, but you can always try to Duress the opponent before re-casting the Tree. :) Not optimal, but it can be done.

The main plan is good against any creature-based decks, like WW, Bant CoCo&pals, Angels, Spirits and so on. The sideboard should be tuned a bit better against local meta. Right now, I anticipated a lots of GB decks coming forth, so I put more pressure against them to the side (Flaying Tendrils, Kalitas). These slots can be changed, ofc.

Not yet. It has been on my list of decks to test against, and I will probably run it next. Good thing you mentioned Hallowed Moonlight, because I think I have some of those and not used them anywhere before this. You might be right about BW tactics against GW tokens - Virulent Plagues are the thing to go for, but I guess you'd also need 4 x Languish, *maybe* 1-2 Flaying Tendrils for good spots, and side out most of the single target removal. Then again, what creatures you think BW control should include? For now, I was considered about taking out their PWs, but if you can keep the board clean from tokens, you might as well go to their heads with good punchers like Avacyn.

After some more testing with GW tokens vs BW total removal, tokens-deck seems to have an upper hand in most of the games. The speed of token creation and pretty much untouchable Planeswalkers are a threat not to be taken lightly. It is advised not to run any Flaying Tendrils against GW tokens, because by the time you can play one of those, most of their creatures might be out of the range because of Nissa's boosting ability. Virulent Plague is the best weapon, but expect good GW players to run more enchantment-hate in their sideboards. Added 4 x Avacyns to the side, to be taken in for PW-killing duty. It is no secret, that GW tokens have problems against flyers, so in opponent's end turn flashed in Avacyn can surprise them and be able to kill off one of their PWs. If the matchup doesn't get any better from those, two Quarantine Fields can be removed from side and add 2 more evasive creatures, either flyers or perhaps Elusive Tormentors, to boost up that part. Or then add some Hangarback Walkers, maybe.

Based on a few other tests, the main weakness for the Total Removal -deck is 1.) Planeswalkers and 2.) Tokens. So GW tokens deck is it's worst enemy. Like mentioned earlier, more Ruinous Paths and Declarations should make it even, but it might need sideboarding one more plague, two languishes and one planar outburst. Single target removal is not very good against the token horde and Gideon can cause you headaches, with or without tokens. :/

Thanks. I tested two quick games against proxied BG Aristocrats -deck Jon Finkel version, and even if the games were long, in the end the cheap BG creatures and tokens were outnumbered by Gideon's tokens and Flaying Tendrils+other exiles. Looking good so far.

Against GW-tokens, 4 test games ended into 50-50. Before siding, GW-tokens has an advantage of being able to produce to much token so quickly. After siding, Virulent Plagues and Flaying Tendrils will take over easily. The main deck would still need maybe 2-4 Declaration in stones and perhaps 1-2 Ruinous Paths. GW-tokens also had some of their aggro based on Gideon's 5/5, so it would be good to be able to remove him ASAP.

Probably put 2xGrasp of Darkness and 2xUltimate price to the side, add in +4xDeclaration in Stone. Then move 1xCelestial flare and 1xImmolating Glare to the side, and add +2 Ruinous Paths, and I think it would be good enough. For Standard games, you can easily change the one Tragic Arrogance from the main to either Languish or fourth Planar Outburst, and probably move 1xFlaying Tendrils to the side and add another Languish to replace it.

It was amazing how much decent removal was in the current Standard these days. Most of it is in black and white, and I just gathered all what I could find from my piles, then added in the lands and a few planeswalkers that I own. The result was amazingly good, even if I believe this deck might suffer some downfalls against combo-based decks or some other types. But against white weenies, Avacyns, aristocrats and perhaps vampires, I'd say they are not gonna like their games against Total Removal Control.

I remember him from Origins, and wondered why MtgVault shows him as non-standard. Nothing wrong with Sengir Vampire, I just saw Tormentor as total bomb in Limited and wanted to use him in other decks, too. The ability to block someone, and then flip him over before combat damage for both Hexproof and Indestructible is also worth mentioning, with his normal use of attacking for 4 unblockable damage.

Yes, 4 life or 1 card. I'd say Lightning axe would be safer against burn and aggros. I have to reconsider that option as well. Thanks for the tip.

I'd put all Kolaghan Commands into the main, they are just so good. Also it's nice to see old man Sengir Vampire making his appearance, even if the legality is wrong that he wouldn't be standard legal. If you wanna run any vampires above 3 CMC, I'd suggest trying out the Elusive Tormentor - he is one nasty dude, that can dodge removals like a pro. ;) It's 4/4 basher for 4 mana (better play him only when you have 5+) and for card and mana investment he is unblockable, so 1 or 2 and you're good to go.

I like the idea. There could be something very potential here. 4 x Radiant Flames is very nasty. :) I'll proxy the deck and try it out against some standard decks.
