I love to just scry! I don't mind it coming in tapped if it's rearranging my deck for me.

no, i mean why dont you just have more of the colors you have in your deck for scry lands?

i'd assume he only owns those scry lands.

that's what i would assume too, but in this fantasy world of mtg vault couldn't you spare an extra 5 monopoly dollars to put a temple of triumph? lol

Hahahahahahahahaha. It's a common insult I use, so I thought it'll be easier to remember.

I would probably add more draw if i were you. Maybe jace, architect instead of ral zarek? Or a couple of draw cards like divination instead of 4 dissolves when you have 3 counterflux'es and 3 syncopates? You wouls still have 2 dissolves, but i think most control decks these days lack draw. If you found any of this helpful, please take a look at my uwr midrange! :D

Divination and Jace are crazy good draw. Sphinx's Revelation is also insane if you're a control deck, it might as well be a win condition.

Sphinx's is a crazy card, but I'm so cheap. Divinatin is not an instant though, so maybe Inspiration instead? One mana more but I try not to cast sorceries to keep my opponent wary of me

If you are going to go inspiration you might as well be going Opportunity. 6 for 4 draw is even better than Sphinx's draw for that cost, only without the life. But it is instant and cheapish for the card advantage. I personally would play it over inspiration.

It's okay, I do wholeheartedly agree with you about the money cost of Sphinx's. And which Jace are we on about?

divination is a sorcery, but hear me out. You are probably not going to use divniation early, because you have cards in hand. Therefore, later in the game when it becomes more vital you will have mana to cast it for (ONLY!!!) three mana and still have mana to make your opponents wary. At least that is my experience from using it in control. And 2 draws for 3 mana is pretty fu**ing mana effective anyway. If u want instant, then opportunity s just way better than inspration.

Architect of though with the crazy draw two ability is the Jace that would work best :D

I will deifinitely se if anyone has any at my local FNM! Do you think it should replace Ral?

ral is better in midrange imo. So i would definitly use jace over ral. He's expensive though.

yes, at least sideboard. From what i've been seeing on youtube, a lot of pros say its the second best card in standard atm. Only second to Voice of resurgence.

okay seriously why the fuck are theses scry lands worth so much?!?! they are just guildgates that let you scry 1! not scry 2 or scry 3, just scry 1. nice deck btw! thanks for letting me rant!

You just answered your own question. IT IS A FREE SCRY. You don't pay anything to scry, you put a land into play. Early game, it helps you set up, late game, it gets rid of useless draws. So no they aren't guildgates because guildgates don't let you scry for free. I repeat, just in case it was too difficult for you to comprehend the first time, a FREE scry. For 0 mana.... A free scry...... And $5 doesn't seem like a high value, considering the shocks are sitting around $10 each right now....

its not only a free scry, its a duo-land. And the free scry more than makes up for the fact that it comes in tapped.
