Deck discussion for Oloro's Pillowfort EDH

Vile Consumption is kind of great in Oloro, especially if you face any token decks like I do. There are metas where it wouldn't be useful, and yours may be one, but in mine it wrecks havoc.

Leyline of Anticipation might be good, too. It'll make Felidar Sovereign and Test of endurance a lot easier to win with if you can drop them before your opponent's end step.

Thanks, I'll look into those. Honestly, I only play against roughly 3 decks atm. A Geist of saint traft equipment, Treva, the Renewer control and a Vorel of the hull clade hydra deck, which I designed anyways. Don't know a lot of ppl that like commander.

After looking over the deck, I would drop the Obelisk of Esper for a swiftfoot boots or a lightning greaves, to protect certain cards on the field. Also, with the level of control you're playing at, I would say a snapcaster mage would be very useful for the deck as well. Sphinx's Revelation would be a crazy card to play, especially with Drogskol Reaver in the deck. Double that card draw! Lastly, I would recommend putting in overrule or hindering light. They both would probably help you out in this deck.
Good deck all in all though.
If you ever come across a bigger group that plays commander, I would try to step away from infinite combos and try to win through alternative means. Most people don't like infinite combos in commander. From my experience, they may have one card that lets them go infinite, but they don't rely on that one strategy. You're already doing great with Felidar Sovereign and Test of Endurance, especially when you're running Paradox Haze. Love that card, btw. Just try to avoid going infinite in commander, it's boring and ends the game too quickly.

Thanks, I appreciate all the feedback. Honestly I only went this route to be "that guy." That, and we have one guy that cheats a lot, so I wanted to make this deck to where even if he does, I'll still have the upper-hand. Which, it works. I was using the esper swords build, but I was only borrowing my buddy's swords, so once he took them back it kinda killed the build.

Love the deck! Gives me great ideas for my own, just like you said. There is only two cards I would add to make paradox even better! One is Celestial force so you gain 6 life each turn, especially effective in large groups. Also try adding evil twin. He is an amazing control card even for non-legendary.

I'll definitely look into those. Thanks for the feedback, and I'm glad I could help.

Oh and try adding dissipation field. It makes it so that any creature that attacks you and deals damage is returned to the hand. Pure blue. Oh and fatespinner would help to be a great control as well.

Oh, this looks like pretty effective build, though I'm not sure which cards to suggest after all...

It is real effective, and I only have about 50% of the cards. Of course a lot of the times it's just the luck of the draw right now since I don't have all the tutors.

No sun titan!?

Also, i think even in an oloro deck, that rhystic study ends up being better than well of lost dreams.
