Ok, I will cut Woebringer, Extractor, and maybe one Elbrus.

Should I cut Pit Spawn?

I need to cut only 3.

Never mind, I need to cut 4.

I will cut Woebringer, Extractor, Promise of Power, and Pestilence Demon. What do you think?

I'm going to add 2 Quicksilver Amulets, and 2 swamps.

Also, I like the idea, but personally I'd try to cut down to 60 cards, just to be sure you get the creatures you need. And... I'd hate to say it, but take out prince of thralls, he's just not that good for his cost when you're mostly running black. He's cool flavor and I like him, but you'll never see him out.

The mana curve is horrible, you will be a blood pool on the floor before you even get started with the deck... Just saying...

Elbres is not that good, I'd cut one

0

I'd also add in some acceleraters, like coalition relic, mind stone, sol ring, or pristine amulet

0

Vampiric link is horrible, because it gives your opponents 2 for 1 opportunities, and because if your smashing face with a huge demon, it's kind of a win more card, as in u don't really need it cause your gonna win in the next few turns anyway. U also might want to add in some removal and sweepers like damnation, go for the throat, and Doom blade. Barter in blood is also good

Your deck seems good but... 7 mana is really not a cost you want to clump at.

0
Posted 09 May 2012 at 01:44

You deck really needs some more acceleration to get those fatties into play earlier.
How about some Cabal Coffers?
Or if you're willing to put in some weenie black creatures that serve a purpose, like Gatekeeper of Malakir, and sac them with Culling the Weak to get some mana?
I'd also consider swapping some of the swamps with Leechridden Swamps or dual colour lands for some more red. Malfegor will thank you.

One creature I would consider putting in as a target for Culling the Weak would be Anger.
Angry Demon's with Haste!!!!

Good Luck with the deck.

Any chance you could have a look at my Self-Mill Deck?

In answer to otterbox's comment, I'm surprised that people still aren't getting vampiric link, spirit link, even armadillo cloak. THIS CARD DOES NOT GIVE THE CREATURE "LIFELINK"! It just says when enchanted creature deals damage, you gain that much life. I.e. you play it on their creatures not yours negating the damage it does to you. I have two white decks both with spirit links in and I almost never use it on one of my own creatures. Even in my green and white deck I sometimes put armadillo cloak on an opponent's creature. DO NOT PRESUME THIS CARD IS THE SAME AS THE CARD LIFELINK. if anything, this card may be the only thing that allows DeZombiemon to even reach turn five...

The good thing about vampiric link is that you can enchant the other player's creatures early in the game.

Then why only use two? he has a 1/32 chance to pull it out with his current deck. He should have 8 cards to deal with creatures (4 more cards being pop spells) and 1-2cmc chump blockers, reassembling skeleton being a good choice for this deck imo.

Your mana curve is too high, as has already been pointed out. Just adding more mana will not solve the problem. You need to cut a bunch of the higher cost creatures out and add some 1 or 2-drops. Preferably 1-drops.

Think about it: Most of your creatures cannot come out until turn 5 or 6. By then, your opponent will likely have 3 to 5 creatures on the board, possibly pumped with some enchantments. You will not live to see turn 5 without some chump blockers to stall until you can get out your big hitters.

For early game protection in red/black;
Consider Wall of Souls, and the red wall with aether in it's name that returns creatures to owner's hands.

id cut two binding blades since theyre legendary also dread cacodemons are always fun black market is a good way to get a lot of mana mid game for the huge creatures possibly multiple demons per turn if you use your reavers at the right time

also i have a friend that plays a pretty strong demon deck you might wanna think of something like reassembling skeletons and fog of gnats there low cost and you can keep regenerating them until you can get your heavy hitters

Why does nobody understand the greatness of Heartless summing in a demon deck? especially when there are cards like priest of gix... you put both of those in this deck and win games.

Ok, that makes sense, but why not just have a removal spell instead. Wouldn't that be better??

Like what a lot of people have already said, You need to balance out your mana curve. The easiest way to start off is going based off of a normal curve, with 3-4 cmc being the median. Also, you should consider what demons you want to put in here to maximize there effect.

The cards listed are cards I would suggest you take out regardless of what theme you want to try. these cards pale in comparison to other cards with the same cmc.

artifacts
demon's horn
elbrus, the binding blade

creatures
cackling imp
cadaver imp
lord of the pit

enchantments
vampire link- (It's a win-more card in this deck.)

lands
6 swamp (24 is the most you need having more lands doesn't make your deck better able to bring out your demons. You would be more likely to have too many lands and not enough spells.)

spells
demonic collusion
corrupt

Other then that, you should mess with your deck to find what theme you like. It seems you like the sac theme, so find 1-4 cmc cards to support that theme. Good luck!

If you have the time can you take a look and comment on my demon/devil deck? Thank you.
