The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
The purpose of this deck is to eat away at your opponent's hand while keeping his side of the board clear. Plink away till he's on the draw, drop Nyx and finish em off.

What if they just destroy nyx !? lol, granted it is tougher to drop a black creature, bonesplinters or unmake can do him in. Then again, no deck is infallible, otherwise I would say it is pretty solid.

well, in theory at least, they are on depending on topdecking an answer. dudes, manlands and pingers help fill the gap.
I don't know why, but I really like this deck. It seems so perfect. Very nice build!
thanks! I put a lot of thought into my decks, check out some of my others :)
i like the deck very well thought out unless your trying to maintain it in the newer sets id place a few dark rituals in there for a first turn hypnotic spectre and maybe a way to boost the creatures like edge of divinity or something like that and maybe adding a megrim or two too take off a litle life as they discard and in exchange for the thought seize put in ravens crime its one mana and it has retrace
only thing i say is 4 nyxathid and maybe blightning instead of the scepter, thats really more your choice on how you like too play. comment on my 5 color control deck, http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=15853
maybe to satisfy all you should build a side board and youll probobly recieve less complaints. for the side board: megrim blightning underworld dreams to change it up a litle maybe: murderus red-cap
I think I agree with Jahal, my personal prefference would be blightning over sceptre but thats just one mans opinion, thumbs up!
Very nice build; balanced, well thought out, and excellent take on the discard strategy.
Too much creature removal. Sideboard the wrath and 2 more. Replace with 2 more mind rot.
Mind shatter is infinitely better than mind rot.I play a heavy discard deck with nyxathid, Oona's prowler, mind shatter and thoughtseizes. Infest is a little sketchy because it will kill 12/15 creatures in your deck! That's a bit counterproductive with a sculler on the board too! Maybe try divinity of pride as game finisher too? Hope I could help. It looks like a good deck.
Looks like a solid deck. I might remove a Thoughtseize. Check out my deck please. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=17773
man loves this deck definitely alot of control with combo to discard and creature removal nice.
