Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

My attempt at a standard Bant Exalted deck. Only legal until October, but I'm new so I thought I'd try my hand at something cool. I'm still learning so I heartily welcome constructive criticism.

Deck discussion for T2 Exalted (please comment)

between noble hierarch and 25 lands i think you have too much mana... perhaps take out evolving wilds and another bant charm stoic angel and angelic benediction... nice combo with angelic benediction and stoic angel too... i always liked exaulted good luck with it for the limited time it's still around : \

Thanks for the advice. :) I'm really just using this time to further my knowledge of the game as I have little money, but once I can afford some cards I'll definitely be a better player. lol

And I do believe you're right about the lands after drawing a few sample hands.

cascade and mana leak is awkward. I like mana leak in the more controlling bant, so maybe take out the ardent pleas for Bant Sureblade or even Jenara. Also, cutting 1 bant charm for a single Clarion Ultimatum might be worth it, since a resolved clarion is insane, and this deck seems like it might want it.

Yeah, I was thinking about taking out ardent plea because of that, I'll look into those other cards.

Apparently people think it's crap, but instead of give constructive criticism they just rate it a 2 and move on.
Awesome.
Thanks to those few that did help.

The problem is that bant is only super competitive in the mythic version.

I liked your version, it's brave to try new lists. Good show!

Thank you very much. I was never trying to be too competitive, just trying my hand out as a rather new player. If you have any general tips or advice on standard deck building it's heartily welcomed. :)

Most bant decks run 4 noble hierarchs and 4 birds of paradise, along with 22~24 lands.

If you have A LOT of money, then try the BEASTLY Knight of Reliquary Combo.

x4 Knight of the Reliquary
x4 Misty Rainforest
x4 Verdant Catacombs
x1 Arid Mesa

X4 Lotus Cobra

Then if you have all that, run expensive stuff (both mana and actualy price)! You can play these two on turn three:

x4 Jace, the Mind Sculptor
x4 Baneslayer Angel

And this one on turn 4:
x4 Sovereigns of Lost Alara
Dont forget to run x2 Eldrazi Conscription

Goodluck!
