Thanks for the advice. I haven't played modern before, but I enjoy building decks that are different than the meta and the blue/black combo has been a favorite of mine. Modern is a format that i want to get into, but I don't have hundreds to blow on cards so I figured I'd make something different.In response to the posts, I agree with the of placing Surgical Extraction in the side board and after looking into Nephalia Drownyard, I think I would rather use a Curse of the Bloody Tome. Though it only mills 2 per turn, I don't have to pay mana toward it, but I see what your saying; if i have run out of steam I can all ways mill for 3.And I totally forgot about Breaking//Entering, I actually have the card. Probably a 2 of.Also how fast pace is modern? I know it depends on the deck, but I'm told the stereotype modern game is usually done turn 5-6...
