Deck Description

A good tournament vampire deck, I realize Nocturnus isn't allowed in tournies anymore but you can swap him out for Captivating Vampire if you're playing by format. He's just too cool to be left out here ;)

Pls comment on what you think about it :)

Bloodchief ascension, yes I know the card is quite ok, but there really isn't any room for that card, + I find it to be quite slow actually compared to other cards filling the deck atm.
Thx for the input m8!

Perhaps consider putting at least two of your Hexmages in the main instead of Pawn. Of course the Hexmages are mostly for dealing with planeswalkers, but I've found that their first strike ability is not irrelevant either, especially against very aggressive weenie decks e.g. Kuldotha Rebirth.

Perhaps consider adding another colour as well. Mono black seems fun, but Swords of Feast and Famine are popping up everywhere lately, granting their wielders protection from black, and ruining the day (or night maybe) of vampires everywhere. However, this ailment can be cured with a simple lightning bolt.

Good Fortune.

Yes I've considered going red for the removal and dealing with the protection stuf, and I'll probably turn the deck around a bit to do so :) Agree on the hexmages aswel, I guess they are viable all the time.
Cheers for the input!

Splashing red would definitively be good! and also maybe some black removal, go for the troath/doom blade kinda stuff!

also blade of the bloodchief, it is to good!

i have made a casual vampire deck using necropotence (yay), if you don't mind, check it out!
