My inspirations for my decks are always... I want to build a new deck! Then I look through all my rare/mythics for something to build around. I'm going to admit now, I'm a VERY green/white girl. I don't have many decks without at least one of those, and if I do, I don't use it often. So I wanted to do a different take on green and was undecided between pairing it with blue, black, or red, which all have their fun. I made a Golgari deck in the past that I ended up taking apart. My process for building a deck involves choosing colors and then pulling out all dual colored cards I have. I look at all of those and try to become inspired. Then I pull out mythics/rares that are inspiring me. After that I pull out commons. I'll have sometimes 200 cards in front of me to widdle down. I begin to find an intriguing mechanic and then it goes fast. This deck is about Deathtouch and Scavenge. I hope you enjoy it. Please let me know how I can knock this 80 card down to a 60 or if you think I have to. I'm about a year into this game and I learn something new everyday, I would love to be as knowledgeable as all of you though!
This deck revolves around Scavenge and Deathtouch. I will be using my Grisly Salvages to draw out cards that I want and then hopefully be mainly putting Scavenge creatures into my graveyard. I have many cards that allow me to bring back from my graveyard in case I'm forced to put something I like in there. I fell in love with Bone Splinters for this deck idea. For B I get to sac a scavenge creature and destroy someone elses creature, beautiful!I guess just let me know what you think. I love deck building and try to get better at it every time!
