Part aggro, part prison. This deck aims to keep it's opponents under pressure of our beefs while it can "soft" lock or play the tempo or card advantage game depending on your opponents. All backed up by explosive "mythic" mana.Sideboard is currently just a list of possible MD SB inclusions. Not a budget brew, but still subject to card availability (currently don't own Voice of Resurgence, Thoughtseize and short of Scavenging Ooze). If you liked this list, don't forget to click on "like" and leave your "commentary".To find out more of my deck ideas, search tags for "DeemINOVATE" or navigate the link: http://www.mtgvault.com/decks/search/?q=DeemINOVATE&searchtype=decktagsWatchlist:Blood Baron of VizkopaChokeCreeping CorrosionEngineered ExplosivesEternal WitnessGaddock TeegInquisition of KozilekPithing NeedleQasali PridemageRelic of ProgenitusScavenging OozeSword of Fire and IceThoughtseizeVault of the Archangel
It plays somewhat like a classic Jamie Wakefield deck (the last fatty is the one that kills you), except our fatties are all undercosted 4/x or bigger beasts that start at 3 mana.Accelerate your mana on turns 1 and/or 2 and keep laying big tempo beaters one after another. Greater Good and Yosei are our trump cards, burying them in card advantage, rending their removal useless, heavy digging for path to exiles or our soft lock/tempo Dragon. As a typical Abzan deck, it has no immediate weaknesses and it is resilient to grind.

[150408] Deck proved itself consistently good on testing yesterday. The new threat densisity seemed to always exaust opponents removal/disruption. Manascrew is being rarelly an issue, which sounds promissing as a base for not just this, but other decks aiming to apply early pressure and go over the top at the same time.Arena sounds like the best card no one has ever talked about. It's repeatable removal and it often applies a soft lock preventing people from playing creatures or participating combat. Highlight for the tapping nature where even if the opponents are able to lay out a bigger creature, birds and elves become one shot tappers that are often enought to push the tempo in our favor and win swinging with our 4/x creatures.Sideboard needs to dedicate a few slots to tron, but still thinking how would be the best way to approach the matchup (Gaddock, Primal Command, Plow Under, Mwonvuli Acid Moss, Pithing Needle). Or should we ignore it completelly?Further additions could mean switching maindeck Hierarchs for Scavenging Oozes or Qasali Pridemages.Vault of the Archangel is still under consideration but havent jumped back since Arena keeps overperforming on that slot and the 23th and is never necessary. On the land dept, still wished we could have Ghost Quarter and Tec Edge on the maindeck, but maybe that demands an specific deck for them like hatebears or something. (while never played the deck, playing against it tells me it needs more reach and its too draw dependant to come as tier 1 on the metagame).Card filtering provided by Kodama's Reach and Fetchlands is being really usefull and synergizes with the threat density and utility slots for good effect.
