Latest iteration of my Pioneer Abzan Doom Foretold deck.I want to get a set of Hallowed Haunting to test in Sigil of the Empty Throne's slot.
Jukai Naturalist and Herald of the Pantheon reduce the cost of the Enchantments on the deck, often allow me to play more Enchantments on turns in otherwise wouldn't have, as well as allowing me to play the expensive Enchantments earlier.Setessan Champion and Calix are the primary draw engine, though Doom Foretold can also draw cards.Starfield of Nyx reanimating an Enchantment every turn allows for some fun combos.1st, the reason this deck exists: Doom Foretold. Starfield keeps my permanent count up so that I can keep sacrificing stuff to keep Doom on the battlefield, which keeps the opponent sacrificing things.Starfield also reanimated Doom so we can keep the stax going.2nd: Looping Oath of Kaya. This is a fun one to keep sacrificing to Doom and then reanimating, but I also use the legend rule on this card to keep sacrificing it and looping 2 Oaths if Doom Foretold isn't around yet.The ability for Starfield of Nyx to animate my enchantments is also a potential win condition. And sacrificing enchantments to Doom is a way to dodge removal on the animated enchantments.Trial of Ambition is my 2 mana removal spell of choice as it sits on the battlefield waiting for Doom and / or Starfield.Sigil of the Empty Throne is for if I suspect the opponent is bringing in graveyard hate. It also helps against control, if I can resolve it.
