Deck Description

GW Aggro deck designed to take full advantage of Wilt-Leaf Liege's anthem ability.

Currently short 1 Fleecemane Lion and 1 Qasali Pridemage, but using Watchwiolf as a filler.

Sideboard is still a work in progress.

OMG, Horizon Canopy (Futuresight print) is currently (29 July 2018) sitting at $84.99 on Star City Games. I own 4 :D

How to Play

Main idea is to play creatures and attack with them. For this, I've selected creatures which (mostly) have power greater than their cmc and (most) get the full +2/+2 from Wilt-Leaf Liege.

Birds of Paradise allows for a turn 2 Loxodon Smiter turn 3 Liege, or just extra man open for Path or Rancor. It's also mana fixing.

Path to Exile is the main removal spell, and Rancor a source of much needed Trample. Selesnya Charm can fill these roles too.

Knight of New Alara is a backup Liege on a much smaller body. Because of the way the Knight's ability works, I'm tempted to work in Naya Hushblade and /or Bant Sureblade, but maybe that's better left for a a different deck.

Sideboard:
Obstinate Baloth - Along with Wilt-Leaf Liege and Loxodon Smiter, I can have a total of 11 possible "free" creatures against Hollow One using Burning Inquiry.
Kor Firewalker - While the life gain from Obstinate Baloth helps against other aggro decks, this can help stop Red almost all on its own.
Natural State & Sundering Growth - Both Chalice of the Void and Ensnaring Bridge are bad for this deck. Different cost hate helps get around both.
Damping Sphere - Slow rolling this against Tron (play it the turn before Tron assembles) is so much fun. Also helps against Storm.
Relic of Progenitus - Helps a lot against graveyard strategies, but I mostly use it vs Storm.
Stony Silence - While no one at my club plays Affinity, there's a fair amount of artifacts I need to hate on: Engineered Explosives, Quicksilver Amulet, etc.

Deck discussion for Yes, my Liege

Looks like a fantastic deck. Nice solid creatures. Selesnya beat down is a pretty sweet setup.
Also think that bant sure blade might be an interesting addition here, but what would you take out for it?

Qasali Pridemage's spot is the most likely one. Moving some number of the Pridemage to the sideboard is place of Sundering Growth.

Another idea I'd like to test is a pair of Tolsimir Wolfblood in Knight of New Alara's spot. 2 more mana and legendary for more power and that sweet Voja token.

Hmm... That's an interesting proposition. The ability to put out a 4/4 for free is super nice. But my only problem is the legendary aspect. You can't put out more than one, thus limiting them a little bit compared to wilt-leaf liege or even knight of new alara.

So the big question here is: is the single 2/2 (possible 4/4) token at worth the extra mana and legendary downside?
Tough call.
