After seeing that Blood Seeker and Consume Spirit are being reprinted in M12, I desided to make a standard life steal deck (Scars of Mirrodin, Mirrodin Besieged, New Phyrexia and M12 cards only). After adding white to the design, I found Exsanguinate to be better than Consume Spirit (Consume Spirit's X can only be played with black mana).
