Deck Description

I'm trying to make a standard legal reanimator-ish deck. The best I can come up with is to use Forbidden Alchemy to get creatures into the graveyard then 'reanimate' them with Unburial Rites.

Merfolk Looter also helps by discarding any unwanted cards (normally drawn big creatures) and 'diging' through the deck to the cards wanted. I was going to use Jace's Archavist for this, but I should have more control over my grave and hand with the slower Merfolk Looter.

Sphere of the Suns serves not only as mana ramp, but as a source of white mana for the flashback of Unburial Rites.

Sheoldred (once out) can serve as a more permanent reanimation affect and with it out, you should be able to be more reckless with the other creatures :p

Deck discussion for Reanimation in Standard???

You're basically looking at Solar Flare. Which is a standard version of reanimator. Your version doesn't run white while Solar Flare does. Here is my Solar Flare deck if you want to take a look.

Well, I'm trying to do my own style of reanimation. I'm trying to steer clear of mainstream decks (it's a thing I do a lot when making decks). After talking about this with a friend, I may rework this to GWU to incorporate a few of his ideas (like adding Mulch).
