Another attempt at a Moonless Ponza, but this time with a combo of Crucible / Excavator + Ghost Quarter.
Ramp into a turn two Crucible / Excavator / Trinisphere, then lay waste to all your opponent's lands. With Trinisphere out, keeping the opponent below 2 lands means he can't play anything. With the exception of the dorks and Mizzium Mortars, Trinisphere doesn't affect you. Crucible / Excavator + Ghost Quarter mean yiu get to blow up a land for free every turn. A large number of Modern decks rely on nonbasic lands and only have one basic per colour they play. You do effectively lose a land drop though, so be careful with your choice. Crucible / Excavator + Fetch lands guarantees a land drop every turn. With a dork on turn one, in addition to Trinisphere, Crucible, and Excavator, you could also play Stone / Molten Rain.
