Trying out a Moonless Ponza. *Note 12 May 2017:Taking this list to FNM tonight. Match results in comments. Also changing the sideboard some:-2 Crumble to Dust (I only own 1 and couldn't find my 1 Sowing Salt in time)-1 Kitchen Finks (couldn't find it in time)+2 Ancient Grudge (I was expecting Robots, but also worked against Lantern Control)+1 Thragtusk (Filling in for the 3rd Finks)I am missing some lands, so I made some changes with what I had on hand:-2 Wooded Foothills-2 Windswept Heath+2 Cinder Glade (The lack of pain on to be untapped is awesome)+1 Mountain (Mostly because Molten Rain requires two red)+2 Bloodstained Mire (next best fetch I had on hand and one reason for increasing Cinder Glade)+1 ForestI like these numbers for the lands for a Moonless Ponza. The only thing I'd change is dropping the Bloodstained Mire in favour of 2 more Wooded Foothills.
The goal of the deck is less about land destruction and more about denying the opponent at least one of his / her colours. All while ramping into your own big threats. Just remember to target the chosen colour at every opportunity. With these 10 mana accelerators, turn 2 land destruction is possible in 2 distinct ways:1) Turn one: any accelerator. Turn two: Stone Rain. (If accelerator is BoP, or Arbor Elf with Stomping Ground, Molten Rain can be cast too) 2) Turn one: Arbor Elf. Turn two: land, Utopia Sprawl, calling red, on untapped Forest, tap forest, untap enchanted forest with Elf, tap forest again, play Mwonvuli Acid-Moss (or Stone Rain, or Molten Rain). Turn three Titan, Chandra, or Overloaded Mortars can be achieved via the Arbor Elf + Utopia Sprawl mana acceleration plus having 3 lands on turn three. Goblin Dark-Dwellers reuses:Stone Rain Molten Rain Beast Within Mizzium Mortars Stormbreath Dragon is naturally resistant to a large amount of removal in Modern, notably:Path to Exile Abrupt Decay Anguished Unmaking Fatal Push Lightning BoltLightning Helix The lands should be relatively safe from an apposing Moon. There's enough basic Forests to have a reliable amount of green under the effects of a Moon.

*FNM 12 May 2017:Small turnout tonight, only 3 rounds.Round 1 vs RDW: Win 2-0Game 1: Opponent gets me down to 5 before I found My first Obstinate Baloth. He only saw 5 lands (1 was a fetch) I saw 2 Molten Rain, a Goblin, and Acid-Moss with enough acceleration to play them each turn starting turn 2. Won via Goblin.Game 2: I was able to destroy all 3 his lands every turn and won with Kitchen Finks and Chandra.Round 2 vs Tron Tooth and Nail: Win 2-0Both games I kept him off his Tron pieces, which kept him from casting Tooth and Nail. I won via Goblin game 1 and after a double land destruction in one turn on game 2, he conceded.Round 3 vs Lanturn Control: Win 2-0Game 1: Kept him at 0 lands and won via a Goblin.Game 2: Sided in Destructive Revelry, Creeping Corrosion, and Ancient Grudge and took out Mizzium Mortars. He only managed to get 1 Codex Shredder and 1 Pyxis of Pandemonium out with the Lantern before my Dragon killed him. He did make some odd moves in this game, like milling my Destructive Revelry instead of exiling it and letting me draw a goblin (Which I used to kill Ensnaring Bridge), letting me draw a dragon (Despite having Sun Droplet to prolong the game), and casing a second Inquisition when he should have known I was only had land in hand.
