Update of my Wilt-Leaf Liege deck, this time using new cards from Guilds of Ravnica and Ravnica Allegiance. Previous version here:http://www.mtgvault.com/dedwards/decks/yes-my-liege/*Update 5 April 2019:-3 Selesnya Charm-3 Rancor-1 Forest+1 Path to Exile+4 Bant Sureblade+2 Siegehorn CeratopsPlayed this at FNM tonight and found myself without enough action in about half my games. So I decided to up my creature count and go down to 22 lands.
Main idea is to play high quality GW cretures, then pump them up with Glass of the Guildpact and / or Wilt-Leaf Liege. The deck is primarily an aggro deck, but it has some nice abilities that help out against various decks.Dryad Militant exiles Instants and Sorceries, making this 2/1 for 1 a thorn against any spell heavy deck that relies on the graveyard.Loxodon Smiter is a 3 mana 4/4 that can't be countered, nor discarded. Good against control and discard strategies.Knight of Autumn is great vs aggro / burn because of the 4 life option. It also gives a mainboard option against annoying and must kill enchantments and artifacts. And if you don't need either of these options, you can just play it as a 3 mana 4/3.Birds of Paradise allow for turn 2 Smiter / Knight or a turn 3 Liege. Path and Charm are removal. Charm and Rancor help punch through via trample.
