The main idea is to get Evershrike into the graveyard, then using its own ability to reanimate it.
The plan is to loot until you get an Aura in hand and Evershrike into the graveyard, then use Evershrike's ability to reanimate itself. There is a backup plan with Favored Hoplite and a slew of cheap Auras. > Edge of the Divinity: Gives Evershrike +3/+3. Favored Hoplite will get +2/+3, +1/+2 from the Aura and a +1/+1 counter from Heroic. > Hyena Umbra: Mostly because it costs 1 AND has Totem Armor. > Ethereal Armor: Gets better the more Auras you play. > Spirit Mantle: Helps end the game. > Faithless Looting / Tormenting Voice: To get Evershrike into the graveyard and an Aura in hand to reanimate Evershrike as early as turn 3.> Flamekin Harbinger: Evershrike is an Elemental, so this tutors for it. Tutor on turn two, and cast Faithless Looting afterwards to guarantee Evershrike goes to the graveyard. > Favored Hoplite: Backup plan for all the Auras.
