The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
Get the shrines, a spellbook and multiple Paradox Hazes out then play Neverending Torment. Transmute to fetch cards needed.
This deck has been viewed 28,432 times.
Since the shrines are legendary you can only have one of each out at a time, I would add 1 or 2 mirror gallerys and take out 1 or 2 spellbooks so you can have more of them out...

that is such a cool idea, i would love to be on the sidelines watching this deck in action lol i would drop the spell books and put in the land that gives you no maximum hand size that lets you tap foe 1 colorless i have forgotten the name but that way you have a mana source and the ability over all its a cool idea btw If you arent trying to make it leagal you could use older tutor cards that would be cheaper then the transmute cost and are you trying to use Tolaria West for its transmute ability because if you are it only lits you fetch something with a 0 casting cost +1
I think he is using it mainly for Spellbook.
Reliquary Tower is the Spellbook land.
The idea is to keep alot of cards in hand, so I don't mind keeping the legendaries in hand. Tolaria West is to fetch spellbook.
I've done this. It's a good idea, and it does work, but you don't want four of each shrine just sitting in your hand.
the more cards in hand the better for never ending torment
this is awesome, all playsets.
Epic Extraction? Only you Ded, only you.
Lol :D
I showed this to a buddy of mine who both has the cards needed, and always wanted to make an Extraction deck. He put it together and we tried it out. Holy crap does it start taking out a lot of cards...O_o
Awesome :) Just wish I had the cards to make this :(
Beautiful my friend.
Thanks man ;p
Use Reliquary Tower instead of Spellbook. It is harder to destroy a land. Unless someone is playing with land destruction. Or two or both. They bothe co0st zero so you can still search for it.
Of you check the date this deck was posted, the tower didn't exist then, but you are rite. And it can be played after never ending goes off as it's not a spell :)
What is with the Dimir Signet and Boarderpost? Is it for mana boost?
That's rite, the Torment does cost quite a bit.
dang, with a few paradox hazes out and NET out this is nasty no matter what the opponent does. How does it work against iso/seek extraction or discard?
Two reasons why I don't know how it'd do - 1) I've never actually made this deck and 2) no one I know plays iso/seek.

interesting idea, i'm not sure I would have gone about it the way you did. I recently modified my friend's draw deck that runs off of Kami of the Crescent Moon and Font of Mythos among other things, I turned it into a 100 card deck for casual play. However, while modifying his deck I came up with an idea for a mono black, mill/life drain deck. It can win a multi player game in a matter of 4 turns, doesn't even matter how many people there are either. You can see that deck under my decks on here.
how about an Elixir of immortality so that you can shuffle neverending torment back into your deck from the graveyard once you've cast a couple of them? might not be needed though.
Unfortunately that won't work. Removing Neverending Torment from the grave doesn't remove the "Epic" affect.
I think I have most of these cards, and a few improvement cards like Reliuary Tower, Watery Grave and the sort to mix it up some. I just might make this beast. I love the synergy of the deck very much. I look forward to trying this deck out. Nice Ded, very nice!
Thanks. You should put this together :) I only wish I had the cards to put it together myself :(
No sad faces allowed... This deck is fairly cheap to make.. I'm sure you'll get around to it some day.

Loved the deck. It's just my style. 4 of each card so you can actually beat 'bad luck'. It just makes sense. (;
Sturmgeist!
It doesn't fit the theme of the deck. The cards in hand are to increase the extraction affect of Neverending Torment. Also there's about 8 other cards with Sturmgeist's power and toughness ability.
Most of your Spells that have the transmute ability won't work when you try to transmute them to find cards. since most of your cards don't match the cmc for the transmutes. Unless I'm missing something really obvious. (It happens, especially after a 10 hour shift lol)
Nevermind, I was missing something semi-obvious. Carry on lol. Also, kick ass extraction deck mate. Even if I love to hate them.
most decks would not give you the ample time needed to make this deck work properly. It seems very slow going and not enough early defense cards to set up.
This deck was designed back when my group only played casual group games, so I had ample time.
I think this is a superb deck.
i was planning on doing this deck, but then i noticed i would need more than 3 turns to make it work. from the decks i see nowadays, i don't think i could get to the 3rd turn..
I've decided to make this deck Ded and i will be play testing it very soon. I've made a few changes and it's legacy legal, so check it out when you have time and let me know what you think. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=287594
Nice deck. Can you please check out mine and help me make it better? http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=290805
