Another attempt at mimicking a Daria deck (Shadowverse). This time working on emulating the power of "Spellboost" with things that get better the more instants and sorceries are in the graveyard.I feel I should work in Faithless Looting. Maybe -2 Spite of Mogis, -1 Izzet Charm, +3 Faithless Looting?Crackling Counterpart was a stong consideration, but ultimately cut for space. Was a toss up between Remand and Rune Snag. Rune Snag fits the "cards in graveyard" theme, bur Remand draws a card...First attempt at Daria:http://www.mtgvault.com/dedwards/decks/daria/
Once again, Bedlam Reveler is the closest Daria analog, except this time its more accurate as discarded cards can boost the cards that care for number of instants and sorceries in the graveyard.Cryptic Serpent is just a big beat stick that, hopefully, comes in early.Delver is one I shouldn't have to explain. With 21 spells, it should flip easily.Curious Homunculus came about by searching for creatures that have tge same cost reduction as Reveler and Serpent. While it doesn't exactly have the reduction, it is semi ramp that turns into a threat in a similar way to Delver.Enigma Drake is another card discovered while looking for cost reduction creatures. Instead if getting cheaper, it instead gets bigger. And having flying means it's less likely to be chump blocked.I see Spite of Mogis as a card Similar to Skred. It's awesome when fueled, but crappy otherwise. Hence only 2 copies.
