The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
Racky54 posted a challenge to make a Standard legal deck based around Gideon's Avenger ( http://forums.mtgvault.com/showthread.php?t=6695 ) and I think the best way is to make a "tap" deck. Venser can bounce Sphere of the Suns or Tumble Magnet to resupply the charge counters. As a went for a semi-tribal human build, I thought Champion of the Parish could make for an alternative big creature. With Venser's bounce, he can help make the Champion begger. Seeing that I'm trying for a tap theme, Gideon Jura can help kill things (and it doesn't hurt to have another big creature on the field). PS This is my first time designing a tap deck, so it probably isn't that good :|

I understand the challenge, but Gideon's Avenger is a trap card. I would never make a deck centered around it. Why? There are too many necessary conditions for it to be good. 1) Opponent has to have a decent amount of creatures for Gideon's Avenger to have a decent growth. (Generally something you want to avoid) 2) It needs time to build up strength, allowing opponent time to draw removal (Which every removal spell will hit the avenger) 3) Once it's beefed up, you need a virtually clear field to attack. No flying, no trample, no lifelink. It can be chump blocked. So while it fits the deck challenge, I would never consider making it the centerpiece in any deck. I would certainly add it in a deck that uses frost titan and tumble magnet, but I would leave it at that.

I have had success with my Gideon's Avenger deck.
Not impossible, just improbable. Chances are upped a bit in standard because haunted humans achieves most of the necessary conditions. Same with Delver decks.
This is how I would play a Tap-deck in standard http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=332827 , focuses around Gideon's Avenger. I'd say it's hella an annoying deck to play against.
